Honestly, I wanted to like this game so badly. The screenshots were cool, it sounded mysterious and it looked like a challenge.

The voice acting wasn't too good. The main guy has no voice, which is not the main problem. The problem is that the other characters talk to him as if he does. There is profanity in the game but it doesn't sound natural. For me, at least, it should be consistent, or not the "really bad words " like ♥♥♥♥, completely out of the blue. It broke up the conversation so that all you can think about is when he swore because; there is barely any; when there is its the big boys; they emphasize it; and they all don't have the voice to swear.

The gameplay is extremely broken up by ♥♥♥♥♥♥ walking around that you have to watch for 5 minutes and the only ACTUAL gameplay is when you fight a boss. And, me, expecting a challenge (seeing as it has "Difficult" as its second tag) the boss's patterns were easy as hell to figure out and dodge. In some games its satisfying to do this but by the time you get to the boss you've already contemplated returning this game several times due to the awful walking and talking.

The story is very, very vague. The voice acting doesn't help with telling the story either. Maybe if they told the story through gameplay and even short, but minimal cutscenes, it would bump the rating up 5 points out of 10. Where did you come from? Why are you in jail? Where is the jail? Why do I need to not only kill the jailer but everyone in the whole jail? Why am I still playing this game? Who even am I? Why can't I talk? These are a fraction of the question this game left me with.

In conclusion, the game has way more potential then this. I can't like this game even if i tried.

Okay so I give this game an 8.5/10.
I've always loved mafia stories so I'll try to stay unbias
Pros:
- Story is freaking outstanding
- Characters are likeable
- Graphics are actually pretty great
- Hookers at Joe's
- Playboys

Cons:
- Garage space is too low
- The open world element isn't the greatest
- No mutiplayer (This doesn't bother me too much. I feel if there was a multiplayer mode it would bring something extra to the fun)

The game is outstanding. If you like the mafia then this game is for you. If you were expecting GTA V in the 50s, you're going to be heavily disappointed. This game is more story driven. Its more story driven.

There could be a sandbox mode separate from the story mode, and so on. It's not perfect but its a hell of a good game.
