Great game, really nice sequel, just doesn't feel like it's doing much. Hoping they add more new slime types and expand on it some more, because right now it just feels like the first game with new paints a few pretty things.

Really fun game, absolutely terrifying to throw a flare and illuminate a cavern crawling with bugs hungry for you.

Fun game to just zone out and relax, there's lot of furniture and decor to choose from and the DLC only expands on that.

Was a pretty decent and fun game if not repetitive and plagued with cheaters/hackers. I had recommended it to friends in the past, but now that this game (and the company) was bought out by Epic Games Store and is forcing people to link an Epic account just to play, I wont touch this game ever again. Epic is also adding microtransactions.

So thanks again for ruining another fun game, Epic!

Much of the same if you played the original Subnautica, but that doesn't make it any less interesting and fun. There are a lot of quality of life changes over the old game, the graphics are beautiful as always, and the creatures are unique and sometimes terrifying.

Pros
- A lot smaller of a map, making it less empty/sparse feeling.
- Interesting characters and a good plot.
- A lot more guided than the original, so you aren't left stranded in the ocean wondering what you should be doing next.
- QOL changes like auto pilot for the seatruck, better PRAWN handling, battery power gauge on tools.

Cons
- A lot of the areas are murky looking and barren. Other areas are incredibly twisting and samey, leaving you to get lost and stuck looking for a cave entrance.
- Hard to see above the water when trying to navigate. There are some story elements that bring you above water, and trying to navigate to them is a pain when you can see less than 2ft in front of you.
- Similar to Subnautica, which may leave you to feel it's a DLC or expansion rather than a full, standalone game.
- The larger creatures akin to the Reapers from Subnautica aren't very intimidating. The Reapers will always be king, and sadly the new additions fall somewhat flat.

Overall Subnautica: Below Zero is solid. The game is much like the previous, with an interesting story and some rather interesting locations and creatures. If you enjoyed the first, you'll probably like this one!

Early Access Review
-- EDIT --
As of the new Ascension update the game has taken a turn for the worse. The UI for this game is the worst thing I've ever seen and the equipment upgrading takes way too long to be enjoyable. The starter equipment feels like a massive punishment more than anything else.

Lack of maps and new ideas into the game since my original review also drives my new negative recommendation. The game feels both stale and unfairly punishing.

-- Original Review --

Amazing game with a concept I've never seen executed well before. A little buggy with voice recognition and lobbies, but otherwise runs and plays incredibly well.

It's a fun game with play with a few friends and have a spooky night of screaming at ghosts, hiding in closets, and asking for pictures of dirty water.

DOTO adds onto Dishonored 2, letting you reexplore a couple areas from the main game whilst giving you plenty of new places to explore. Story is solid, although it follows the same sort of narrative as Brigmore Witches in my opinion. Completed in just under 7 hours, but there is still a lot of replayability. The areas you explore are large, filled with lots of nooks, crannies, and places that harbor secrets.

As someone who has invested a lot of time into the Dishonored series, and considers it to be my personal favourite game, I recommend this stand-alone DLC. It gives you a nice end to the series without feeling cheap or rushed.

Despite the low FPS and occasional lag, the game is astounding. The story is rich and Karnaca is beautiful. Playing this game multiple times is a must.
