Eared Hero

Read before buying
Overall trash and annoying to play.
3 Broken Achievements. Level 11 is like a booby trap. You can't finish it because of a missing platform.
Don't pay for this game, or even try to play it if you're looking for a 100% game.
Money grab from a developer who does not care to fix his game problems.
Title Screen is horrendous.
No Save option - data gets deleted when you exit game.
Controls especially jumping is awful.
Trading Cards does not exist even though it says they do.

Ice Age Scrat's Nutty Adventure 🧊🐿
You've probably seen the Ice Age Movie and have thought to yourself what kind of mischief is that Squirrel up to when he's not chasing the big acorn or trying to avoid being eaten by huge animals... well, this game shows you what is going on behind the scenes and tries to embrace that by focusing on Scrat's journey on a new nutty adventure.

Pros +
¤ I'll never get tired of hearing that pleasant jumping sound Scrat does and especially the sound he makes when wall jumping.
¤ There's not much story, but then again it's not always needed because afterall the game delivers a good and enjoyable gameplay to it rather than putting too much lore into it.
¤ Easy Achievements, at least once you have completed the main task and got all the upgrades.
¤ Boss Fights would be considered medium hard for the younger audience and a Platformer game does not always have to be challenging in order to be fun to play.
¤ The cutscenes are as if you were watching the movie itself.
¤ The Landscapes, Map Design, Enviroment, Details, Animals are all brilliant and looks fantastic, allthough the crusted Crystal Walls looks lame.
¤ You can expect many animals from the movie such as Saber-tooth tigers, Mammoths, Woolly Rhino, Wolves, Some Dinosaurs and whatever those Ancient Fish creatures are called.
¤ Being able to throw those small mudballs was a great addition and makes the character feel more alive.
¤ Terrain and level designs makes this game absolutely stunning.
¤ You'll be amazed how far a squirrel can toss a mudball ;)
¤ Temple Puzzles are easy going and I like the concept.
¤ Abilities and its Tutorial are super cool.
¤ Basic useful settings, Graphics, Audio, Controls, Resolution etc.
¤ Extras - Artwork with ingame maps etc.

Cons -
¤ Game completition is only roughly 3 hours if you run trough the main story - you're looking at additional 2 hours to complete remaining Achivements and gather all ingame collectibles etc. so therefore I think it's too pricy.
¤ They fill out the gameplay too much with Shards and should have focused on adding more Platformer mechanics, obstacles and content such as maps/levels.
¤ A great example of how they could've potentially make this game so much better in terms of gameplay and enjoyment is having it more like the last 2 levels; Icebound Gallery + Crystal Mine. They should also implement a higher difficulty to enemies, or add more of them.
¤ The Combat Window opens up too damn often and is more annoying than helpful. There's sadly no way to turn it off.
¤ Checkpoints comes by too often and the dying seems inconvenient because you will just respawn on the CP without loosing a life. It would be better if they had a 3-life system where you die 3 times, you simply restart the whole level.
¤ Target lock on mode can be a good thing, but in my opinion it is not necessary in this game because it makes it too obvious and sometimes aggravating to use.

Gameplay 🎮
If I had to describe this game, I would say it's like a non polished diamond nut. It's a fun 3D Platformer, but that's about it really. The game looks gorgeous and runs smooth as well as looking around the landscape is very eye appealing, but I feel like there could've been a lot more work put into it. Comparing to Ice Age 2: The Meltdown (video game) that one is overall better. [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ice_Age_2:_The_Meltdown_(video_game)]
Outright Games’ Ice Age Scrat’s Nutty Adventure shows some passionate love for the film series and constructs a game that young gamers will eat up.

Tips and Tricks
There are many Platformer games who fills out the content with collectibles and this is a prime example of one, so therefore, I highly recommend to be focusing obtaining them after you've finished the main story once you got all the upgrades for Scrat, rather than backtracking too much. You can then easily sweep out all of them in one go.
Your ''Throw'' works as your main camera movement, so it is important that you look around with it pretty frequently because your eye can actually miss even such a simple thing like a open passageaway on the side right besides you.
Avoid the water at all costs! You can only land 3 times in it until you die.
Ground targeted mobs are best killed with Stomping. Flying enemies with throwing and other enemies with a combo.

Visually this game looks splendid and runs amazing, but keep in mind that there are quite a few bugs you can stumble upon, like rocks/stones being glitchy when you land or try to jump on them. There are some climbing errors when you try to get down, or how the wall jumping can make the squirrel go nuts xd. There are moments where the sound effects are missleading. You can get stuck inside walls, but you can always teleport back to last checkpoint from menu. This game reminds me of Poi if it tok time during the Ice Age 🌬
I found an interesting page towards finding out who the animals of the Ice Age are and what they're like. Take a peek if you want:

Star Wars: Battlefront 2 (Classic, 2005) 🤖
Oldschool, Nostalgia, Probably one of many people's first third-person shooter games, at least on Playstation 2 it was for me :) and to be fair, it is the only good Battlefront game that ages well and never gets old because it will always remain as a goldie ♥

Pros +
¤ Good amount of settings and you can change keybinds. You're also able to change difficulty anytime you want.
¤ Fun Campaign and you have the option to skip Space Battles.
¤ Good variety of weapons and fun characters to play, most of all Jedi's with their various attacks and unique animations (the Jedi type is different depending on which map you play)
¤ The amount of Health packs and Ammo are well balanced.
¤ Great maps with a rich environment to explore.

Cons -
¤ Some of the communications doesn't show up on the screen or are broken.
¤ Interesting backstory on Cutscenes.
¤ Even with the patch and proper installment of SWBF, the Multiplayer is practically dead.
¤

Gameplay 🎮
The game runs smooth like butter and you feel more immerse playing it on a Console rather than PC, but whatever you prefer. Campaign works fine with no game breaking bugs. There are moments where your game can experience Blackscreens, but changing the resolution and disabling Steam Overlay fixed it for me. Make sure that you're not running Discord in the background because it seem to potentially crash the game. Multiplayer is disabled unless you got Patch installed from SWBFgamers.
Battlefront 2 is slightly graphically outdated and some of its gameplay mechanics are slightly limited, according to its time ofcourse, but give it a go anyways because it's one of the few amazing Star Wars game ever created.

Tips and Tricks
Commands ingame and how they work: You need to target an enemy or your teammate in order to make them work. Sometimes they appear to be slow, so don't spam them. F4 = Follow, press again to make him move out. You can use F4 inside Vechiles for someone to enter and press again to make them leave. If you click F4 holding over someone else's Vechile, they will hold till you get there. Jedi's only regain health by killing enemies. Some Jedi's have Saber throwing, Force Pull/Push depending on which character you play as.
Turning off Friendly fire helps a lot if you do the main Campaign.

If a game like this one can make you feel like a kid again and open up those old memories, then it's priceless and surely worth much time to spend on. This is your chance to join the Galactic Empire. Good luck Soldier! 🌌

Disney Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End ⚔️
This game follows the events from the actual movie! The entire game is based on the search for the Pirate Lords for the Pirate Conclave meeting at the Shipwreck City starting at the Prison where you escape as Jack Sparrow.

Gameplay 🎮
It allows you to jump right into the action! It runs smooth on Windows 10 and the controls are managable, but can be quite annoying playing for the first hour. Learning how the combat works is surprisingly easy and as you progress further into the game, completing levels, but most importantly gathering collectibles, you'll unlock combos that makes the fighting part of this game much easier to handle. The gameplay is pretty linear as supposed to all routes being open and too straight forward, but I think trying to manoeuvre and explore some parts of the game takes that distraction away from you. I also thought that some of the treasures were actually fairly difficult to find.

Playable Characters: Captain Jack Sparrow, Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann

Pros +
¤ Sweet Soundtracks!
¤ Easy combat system with cool animations.
¤ Awesome level design and pretty flawless in terms of moving around without getting stuck.
¤ Checkpoints are usually starting from where a Cutscene begins and are placed perfectly into the gameplay.
¤ This game has a tremendous charm and some of the cutscenes are quite enjoyable, allthough it does have some cheesy comebacks, but so does the movie.
¤ Side Missions was a nice touch consider you get rewarded with gold coins and in some missions you can choose to be the good or the bad guy!
¤ Mini Game - Dice, nothing too interesting as I've never liked this concept, but some people appriciate it.
¤ Each character has unique animations.
¤ Some very fun mid combat scenes with mini bosses that I enjoyed more than strolling around looking for stuff.
¤ I'll leave this one in pros, there's not much mechanics overall and you can't jump control, neither is there an option for switching characters in mid levels, but then again it is expectable to say the least.

Cons -
¤ Does not crash, but there are times where the game closes randomly.
¤ Combat system from enemies are rather repetive and look alike.
¤ Could definately do better with more and different objects rather than having the same kind of object across the levels. You'll know it's the same object (most of the time a crate) by recognising the same marking on them.
¤ No difficulty settings allthough you have Challenge Mode.
¤ Screen Resolution cannot be optimized over 1024 x 768
¤ Some of the voice overs at certain dialogues seems to be cutting out.
¤ I do not mind the fact that the camera is being locked at one position, it's sort of what you expect from old games like this, but the angles can be a bit awkward most of the times.
¤ There is no manual, tutorial, or much settings for that matter apart from changing volume. You can not change keybinds which is a shame considering the movement and attacks are kinda bothersome.
¤ Upgrades are misleading and makes little sense.
¤ You can't use the Mouse, so you're stuck with these clumsy controls.

To sum it up 💎
If you enjoy action packed pirate games, then this game is worth buying, at least when it's on Sale, or you can try to get it cheaper from third party sites. I have not yet tried the multiplayer and I'm sure it'll be tricky to play consider barely no one would be connected most of the times, but it sounds fun and maybe there are more playable characters in that mode. Time wise, you're looking at about 4-5 hours for a complete playtrough. If you want to see the plots and go into more depth about story etc. you can take a look at Wikipedia. It was an interesting read for me :)

Tips and Tricks
Controls; Shift = Block Z = Quick Attack (Sword Symbol) X = Heavy Attack (Sword with Red Glow Symbol) C = Grapple (Symbol with 2 Mini Human Figures) The ! symbol indicates pressing Enter and then you have up, down, left and right arrow (movement keys) Note: You do not have to hold any of these keys, so in most cases for fighting, you can just mash a combo or spam quick attack, unless there are many enemies, then concentrate on blocking, let them hit you once and then strike them!

My favorite quote; This is the day you will always remember as the day you almost caught Captain Jack Sparrow.

Pajama Sam: No Need to Hide When It's Dark Outside

Meet the world's youngest Super Hero, Pajama Sam, as he is exploring fantastic and interactive lands

Even when you're an adult like me, some of the puzzles that were created for Kids can still trick you, which makes this game so much more fun to play!
It's a 1990's Classic with Humor, Nostalgia, Puzzles, Awesome Soundtracks, Great Animation, Fun Characters and just a blast to play trough anytime you want to re live your old Childhood.

Worth buying to bring back memories, but if you like the genre of Point and Click Adventure games, then you should definately buy this one!
Works with Windows 10 since it's released on Steam.
Colorful artworks, good experience, no bugs whatsoever. + Mini Games and lots of cool cutscenes.
Each playtrough is different and you might end up with one slightly harder than the other.
Finding collectibles: Socks can be quite annoying. This game has sadly no Achievements, but it does have Trading Cards.
You're looking at about 2-3 hours of one whole Playtrough, so the asking price is okay considering you would pay more for a CD.

Alekhine's Gun
I really wanted to like this game, but sadly it executes very poorly in gameplay. Please, spend your money on other Stealth/Assasin game, especially if you're a Fan of the genre. I personally love Stealth and Assassin games, but Alekhine's Gun just didn't work well for me.
I watched Walktroughs and Playtroughs on YouTube before trying out this game and I thought it looked interesting enough to give it a try. Now, the second reason I'm giving this game a thumbs down is because that way I can refund my money and spend it on a better game.

Pros
* Super cool ''James Bond'' feeling to the game
* Overall very simple and first mission was quite easy getting done.
* Whistle for distracting an enemy. - Punching an enemy was cool, but how in the world is this going to be useful both after and before you alerted anyone? seems to always aggro even more enemies.
* Large detailed maps, buildings and smooth getting around, BUT not so much content in terms of interracting with stuff.

Cons
* Very odd transformation/flash on the Screen for 'weather' section as you step out/in from Outdoors and Indoors.
* No jumping system and the only way to Stealth kill an enemy is by crouching and then you gotta be fast to strangle him from behind.
* Comically bad AI, bugs, and clumsy controls.
* Bland characters and a story that delivers trough a wall of text. I'm not enjoying the cutscenes either.
* Horrible gun system. Sneaking and walking sounds are bad. There are no good effects whatsoever.
* Disguise System doesn't help for most of the times.
* Game is crashing when you change Resolution.

Spend your money into other Stealth/Assassin games because there are loads of better ones available out there. Like I mentioned before, you can give it a try for an hour or two and then refund your money from Steam if you didn't like it :)
This is pretty much a Poor Man's Hitman

Ghost of a Tale
Ghost of a Tale is an action-RPG game in which you play as Tilo, a mouse and minstrel caught up in a perilous adventure. The game takes place in a medieval world populated only by animals, and puts an emphasis on immersion and exploration. It features stealth elements, disguises, conversations with allies and enemies, and quests.
Heavy based on Stealth, so be cautious out there when avoiding those Rats while exploring the secrets of Dwindling Heights and navigate its dangers.

Includes
Hiding Locations are pretty much everywhere, you just need to be smart on how you move around. Side Quests + Main Story. Your Inventory contains the following > Tools: which you will unlock more of while progressing on quests and finding items. Clothes: (Cosmetic collectibles) required to be used in many parts of the game. Food: Overall easy to stack up on Food and will never leave you hungry considering on how much Food there are troughout the various locations. Books: Maps, Sigils, Emblems and Scrolls that shows Lore and Quest information. Misc: This is where all of your grabbed items and many Quest stuff will go into. There are much of it, so make sure you keep up with it. Keys: This is very important. Make sure you are not missing places because you can't risk to loose any of them. They are needed in order to progress with your quests.

I don't feel like there's a need on explaining what's going on in this game. You're better off watching Guides, Walktroughs and Playtroughs on different Platforms to get a clearer picture and of course which can get you help if you ever get stuck on something.

Pros
* Overall straight forward and easy game to play. Worth buying for full price considering the amount of time it offers + if you ever want to go for those hard achievements, you can replay the game.
* Fantastic Movement and Jumping system. It actually feels like you're playing as a Mouse with the smooth Camera and visual game style.
* Tilos is a adorable Mouse, well designed and interesting character.
* You can tell that the developers have put a lot of effort and time into details, graphic improvements and visual style.
* Perfect amount of interactable items, including Save Spots.

Cons
* Excessive amount of Florins (coins) I wish they'd reduce the amount and make it more challenging to obtain.
* Sometimes when running from a Rat and suposed to jump up on something it can be 'delayed' or just slow.
* Almost too easy when you're going to Hide once spotted from one of the Guards.
* Short Main Story and I wish they added more Side Quests.
* Not much Action at all, apart from the endgame, which is pretty cool. There's no fight system, even though I wish there was more than just dazing the guards with Bottles etc.

Ghost of a Tale will leave you with sympathic feelings towards endgame. We're living in a big World, especially when it comes to Tilo. Make sure you take your time to enjoy this game and don't miss out exploring and discovering various locations, items etc. I feel like this is a underrated game and a hidden gem. Maybe there will never be a popular era where games like these take over because I absolutely love them and wish they would create more wonders like this!
I hope they will release a Sequel to this game :)

Dungeon Defenders 2
My first impression when I started playing this game, was me being pretty sceptical due to this game being a ''Pay to Win'' game. After I finish the Campaign and had a few hours into the Adventure maps, I found out that it's not, and it's actually a genuinely fun Tower Defense game. I haven't yet tried the new Content + the Packs you have to pay for, but I must say they look really interesting. You can bump into Action as soon as you're logged in. I really enjoy the pattern when it comes to placing defenses and learning about the items in this game. You need high grade Relics and Mods for your Hero, so it will be a lot easier to kill mobs. Some Bosses requires you to use special abilities in order to damage them more efficient. Easy game to learn, fairly quick to progress, but it's hard to master, especially on the higher ''Chaos'' maps you do. DD2 gives me a lot of entertainment and I tend to play this game in between breaks from other games and so on. I would say this is a family-friendly game as well, and it suits all ages. It even has cutscenes in the Campaign, which I actually enjoy watching. DD2 can become very intense, so make sure you're prepared for the hard parts. If you like 3D Tower Defense Games, this is a must play!

Tips
Buy Inventory Management when you're able to. Don't forget about some really useful additions, such as Disenchantment. If you get a hold of a higher tier relic, you are able to disenchantment it into a lower tier relic. Very handy and used to upgrade your gear.
Don't forget to hatch your Eggs, before they Rot, because there's always a chance of getting a Mythic or a Legendary Pet with good stats! Transfer Mods using Tinker system, instead of selling a good tier item. Make sure to check out Quests and Missions to gain Heroes coins, which is used for mostly leveling up your Relics.

+ Positive things
* Multiplayer with a friendly community. All though, sometimes you will find some toxic high level Players that wants you to sell your defenses so they can grind for themselves.
* Unique Hero's with different abilities and playstyle, such as animations, jumping, movements, attacks, skills etc.
* You don't have to spend money to enjoy the game, and that's a huge + for me.
* Good MMO vibes to it.
* Detailed maps and lovely aspects.
* Pets, Cosmetics, Player Shops (in game Trading), Collections, Titles, Challenges, Daily Missions etc.
* More than just 1 game mode: Campaign, Adventures, Expeditions, Onslaught, Mastery, Incursions + Markets.
* Leveling System with looting.
* This game feels really polished, and has a very unique design.
* You can upgrade your Hero skills (ascensions) so that your Hero will become more powerful.
* Relics, Gear, Name system for your Hero's, easy going Bag/Loot system.
* The Emporium : Features epic Costumes, Shards, Packs, Skins and other neat additions you can purchase via using Gems.
* Overflow system - Scavenger is an npc at the Heroes Marketplace which you can claim items that you might have missed.
* Tavern - here you can relax and also talk to the Tavern NPC if you'd like to report any bugs or glitches ingame. There is also a Private Tavern where you and your friends can hang out and talk.

- Negative things
* Short Campaign that's too easy. The last map is the only challenge.
* The Markets are dead and I don't see any reason having them added.
* DD2 can become very grindy sometimes.
* Some Players tend to Overprice a lot of items, even though, the fact that not every item is as rare as they claim it to be.
* Some NPCs can be useless, such as the guy selling low tier Relics which hasn't any good stats at all. Same thing goes with the Blacksmith.

Note:
You are able to travel into a Mysterious Portal, which sends you to a different world where you can Try out all the Heros ingame! ✮
There are far more things in this game that I haven't mentioned, but it's safe to say it's worth giving a shot, I mean I like it way better than other Tower Defense games :)

Early Access Review
Magika Land of Fantasy
✯ This game was much shorter than I expected, however it was still a lot of fun. The Jump mechanics are smooth. Graphic is super sweet and colorful for being a F2P game. It tok me about 4 minutes to finish both levels and the Boss itself, so if you get bored sometime, you should definately play this game :)
While you are running trough the levels, you will encounter different mobs, such as Bombers, Vikings and dangerous traps.
It's pretty much going from point A to B.

› Easy and Normal Mode has Checkpoints. Hardmode and Time Attack has no Checkpoints, therefore you will have to survive with 1 life. An average time completition for this game would be between 10 - 20 minutes.
You are playing as a Wizard to repeal the attack on your Kingdom. Use your Spell (fireball) to kill enemies. Some of them will drop a power potion upon death. Your other ability, Shield Attack allows you to block incoming damage. Each ability costs magic points so you have to be careful with how you use them. The variety of platforms and terrains makes each level much more memorable in its design. There is usually more than one way through a level, giving you the option to roll which way you want to go.

› Developer removed the Gold Coins from Early Access, which I seemed to understand that it was a good thing. Those Gold Coins were not used for anything either way. Each level is challenging in its own aspect I guess, and creatively designed. The game includes a Tutorial and a 'Pause Menu' by clicking escape. Some Platforms will sink when you step on them. Other traps will kill you instantly. One neat ability you get to pick up ingame is the Super Jump.

Pros
- Challenging and fun.
- Very creative
- Theme and Character is wonderful

Cons
- No rewards, missing a Score Tablet or some kind of a reward system.
- The Boss fight could have been improved a little bit.
- Fireball Ability is kinda sluggish. Does not hit very well, so to say.
- Key on Level 1 to unlock Boss Level, which gets you to skip Level 2.

✩ I think that this game was truly enjoyable, but it definately needs some improvements. We all know the three main principles for a video game: 1. Goal 2. Challenge, and 3. Reward. It gives you an empty feeling at the end of this game, so it does really lack a reward system, but you won't regret playing trough it anyhow ☻

Mafia III

Here's a very extract and simple review for Mafia 3. I'm reviewing this game from my point of view because it doesn't actually deserve the negative knockback it has been getting. Spoiler free review.
First of all, you shouldn't be bothered about the mixed reviews and especially not the negative reviews. Apparantly people have lost their mind about the gaming aspects today. I'm not saying this is a perfect creation but if you can buy it on sale it's worth all the money spent and you'll have a blast playing it. If you are familiar with Third-Person Shooter games you should definately check this one out. I simply don't know if I should recommend it to the fans of these series though, as I haven't played the previous games, even so this is an amazing game if you can pick it up at a summer/winter sale where they cut off more then 50% of the price. I bought it for way less than that and I can say that I'd gladly spend more money into it.

Story
Mafia 3 takes the role for being a Open World game filled with crime and violent that's based around the 1960's era.
The story revolves around Lincoln Clay, an orphan man and veteran of the Vietnam War, striving to build a new criminal organization to confront the Italian mafia. Lincoln Clay's adoptive family was brutally murdered from Salvatore ''Sal'' Marcano and his companions. (Head of the Marcano crime family and King ♥♥♥♥ in New Bordeaux)
New Bordeaux consists of ten districts: Bayou Fantom, Delray Hollow, Barclay Mills, Frisco Fields, Pointe Verdun, Tickfaw Harbor, Southdowns, River Row, Downtown and French Ward.

Lincoln's plan was to travel west to California, but he quickly learns that an ongoing war between Sammy's gang (black mob) and the Haitian mafia has put Sammy in a serious debt to Sal Marcano.
The heat picks up from this moment as you start the first part of the game by killing a gangster boss.
From my point of view, Mafia III delivers one of the most intense and appealing story's ever made in a Third-Person shooter. If I was to compare this with another game I would say it's definately as Story Rich as GTA 5 but in some ways it's a lot better and have a better layout at some parts.

The game's quite charmy in its own violent way filled with side missions and different ''contracts'' for the player to do.
You can really notice that the developers have put a lot of work and effort into the characters. My favorite parts of the game is the interactions for the various bosses and lieutenants. With the superb facial animations and its gore it is hands down one of the best AAA-titles out on the market.

Important note: https://mafiagame.com/en/news/ - Just a little heads up to those who are interested in some news and updates ETC. for this game.

Pros
- Kill list with a background story of each gangster boss
- Smooth Map
- Junction Boxes that delivers a intel view for different items and enemies
- Assets - Associates of Lincoln Clay. Shows a background story of each character
- Collection of different magazines (the Playboy ones are pretty neat)
- Consistent, lovely main story
- Different endings to the game with unique and various decisions to do
- You can mod cars and race with them
- Checkpoints and a really well done auto save that pops up frequently but not to often
- Safe houses and variant distillerys
- Cops with differently respond time according to what district you are in
- Bar's, clubs, restaurants, pawn shops and thrift shops for you to hang around
- Waypoints, objectives; chapters and missions
- Outfits and Achievements
- Phone assets - You can call your district friends in order for them to deliver cars, armor, ammo or even store your cash for you and so on...
- OUTSTANDING soundtracks (saved a couple of them using a YouTube list so I'll be able to listen to these whenever I want)

Cons
- Lame shooting perspectives but the damage is really good
- There is nothing wrong with the controls in the game. They are perfectly fine, however the mechanics for certain cars are cancer alike :/
- Nudity, where though? (except some titties that looks like grannys old rags hanging around)
- Not the best gameplay but it offers great quality overall and the graphics on ultra are awesome (some details are heavenly good)

Personal rating 8/10
Just a side note, I had low expectations because of the bad reviews but this game turned out to be the one of the best singleplayer games I have ever played. Definitely worth a buy.
