This game is awesome. It also runs pretty well unless you're using mods. To be honest, this is probably one of the few games I wouldn't recommend mods for. There's just something about the threat of impending and inevitable bankruptcy that appeals to me, I suppose.

It honestly reminded me of Kairosoft's Game Dev Story, but slightly more serious. But really, you should get this game; it's worth all $9.99. I love being able to sit back and watch the money pile up. Or, if I neglected my MMO for long enough, the server expenses piling up. See, that's why few MMO type games survive for long; the server expenses eventually just cripple your company.

(I'm a hypocrite; I used a mod to grant myself about a trillion dollars when my beloved 'Sandwich Banana' MMO inevitably stopped making money.)

If you don't already have this game, you should really remedy that. The world is massive, and there are probably thousands of locations to visit. Also, the modding community is still really active. I spent around 200 hours playing this game on Xbox 360, and beat it at least twice without mods or console commands. Once I got it on PC, I really went crazy. I think, at one point, I had over a hundred mods installed. Due to clutter, I cut that down to around 30. Right now, I think I have 50 mods.

This game is, without a doubt, the best game of 2011. My best friend went nuts when it was announced; "Dragons? Freaking dragons? Shut up and take my money!"

As an added bonus, it works pretty decently on older computers. The first time I played it was on a PC that could barely run Morrowind, and it performed pretty admirably on Low settings.

Get this game. Seriously. You won't regret it, especially now that it's cheap and goes on sale pretty much every month. It's a worthwhile investment, filled with dragons and chaos. If you really want to expand the world, the Dragonborn DLC adds an island filled with more content. I had a lot of fun chasing down vampires in Dawnguard, and slightly less fun building my own homes in Hearthstone. When you consider mods, this is a game that could fill thousands of hours with utter chaos and mad scrambles for healing items. (Also, the console is your friend; unless you want to use coc. For some reason, I could never quite figure out how to actually make that command work. I'm probably just an idiot. Ah well.)

Update: Now that I've played Oblivion, Skyrim seems absurdly simplistic.

A very excellent game, but a little small in scope. You don't really have much space, and there isn't really a lot going on in the space you do have. A few arms dealers, a few secret spaces, and a few storage lockers, but that's pretty much it.

Still, though, it's a very good game. And it's also pretty cheap, which is also a bonus. Picking this game up won't really damage your wallet. Also, it's good prep for the new Deus Ex game, which will probably be better in every way.

Decent plot. AI that isn't too dumb. Giant robots that obliterate everything in their path. A giant tank that builds units.

Seriously, this is probably one of the best RTS games ever. Hell yes I recommend it! It's cheap, and totally worth every penny.

Giant robots. Nukes. Giant lasers that steal units. Giant robots that fling enemy units at their comrades.

What's not to like?

(The Fatboy 2 is a piece of junk, compared to the original. But that's really my only complaint.)

Great game. There is an incredible selection of guns in this game. A few of them are great, some of them are decent, and some of them are total trash. It's completely up to you! You can go with the decent guns, with minimal effort, or you can go for the great guns, most of which cost literally an arm and a leg. That's find with me, since I pick up and sell nearly everything I find. Man, how can my Roland even carry that much dough? The bandits seem to know that I'm loaded, and attack me at every opportunity. (Side note: That would be a badass game. Imagine a game where the bots know that you're rich, and try to rob you. That would be incredibly dope.)

Death can come at any time. Maybe you forgot to take care of that Badass Bruiser, and he's been following you around. Maybe the Rakk just don't like you. Or maybe you tried to take on a raid boss without any help. I've died many, many times, losing around $100 million dollars in the process. Damn that Crawmerax and his invincibility! You know a boss is insane when a maxed out Roland can't take him out alone, even equipped with four godlike Corrosive guns.

Gr8 game, I r8 it 8/8.

I have mixed feelings about this game.

+ looks gorgeous on a 980
+ runs very well
+ a lot of stuff to do, and a lot of stuff that you can do over and over again if you want to
+ amazing weapons (getting the really good ones is pretty time consuming, though.)

On the other hand,

- getting anywhere takes a while, since random 'karma' events pop up everywhere
- the economy is really screwed up, since certain guns cost pennies and others cost hundreds of thousands
- weapons are hardly even customizable
- grinding the Arena is very frustrating and easier to do with the app than actual playtime
- some of the random karma events are unwinnable, and end before you get there

This is overall a very solid game. Out of all the open world games on Steam, this is probably my second or third favorite.
