This is clearly not a game built for adults. I would like to think of this game as a more cutesy Minecraft, with a more cohesive story.

I put 12.9 hours into this game in a single session. That is not unusual for me. This game has a fantastic construction mechanic. You can build bases with relative ease, assuming you have the resources. The resources are very easy to find, and usually appear from a couple of sources.

Combat is a bit wonky, but overall not bad. The autolock needs a bit of work. The resource gathering is a wee bit on the grindy side, but never really became an issue for me. I built one base in the starting area, and I intend to keep expanding it. For building large structures, I recommend using Ruinstone because of how hard to break it is. I found myself breaking my own base after I built the copper pickaxe.

This game was clearly designed for mobile devices. In fact, I have it on my phone as well. That isn't a bad thing, it just means that the game is more likely to run on lower spec computers. My own PC is ridiculous overkill for this game. The people with concerns about the spec requirements for the game must have computers from the mid 2000s.

If you have children or friends, I can safely recommend this game. If you expect to find Minecraft 2 here, this is not the game for you.
