The literal embodiment of what every rogue-like should aspire to be. If you have any doubts whether you should buy this or not, just buy it. This game already offers more content than most AAA title releases of recent memory, despite being in early-access. Also comes at a great price point.

Pros:
- excellent art design
- excellent sound design
- great combat
- challenging gameplay that feels rewarding
- a fun interpretation of Greek mythology
- good story and interesting characters
- god mode offers a good way to experience the story

Cons:
- slight performance issues even on a decent rig
- the gems mechanic needs tweaking (the amount you need to 100% the game is very hard to acquire without copious amounts of grind)

Overall Score: 9/10

Closing thoughts: Supergiant puts out another game with great visual and sound design, and even in early access it offers a wealth of content that feels genuinely fun to play through. Go buy it.
