In my opinion, just amazing. Definitely one of my favorites in the Trails series, a long-running series of very ambitious storytelling and memorable characters, and definitely one of my absolute favorite JRPGs ever. I love the characters and their development, the detailed world-building, lore and storytelling, the rich voice acting, the epic and emotional soundtrack, and of course the gameplay. One of the best turn-based games I've played and has a deep system that encourages the player to come up with different kinds of strategies, team compositions and builds to wreck enemies and win battles.

If you haven't played the previous games of the Trails series however, I suggest you check them out and play them first because trust me, the story and character developments really pay off after you experience those moments for the first time. Nothing else feels like getting that emotional response from characters and events from previous games that get referenced and developed further in the game.

This is such a criminally underrated game in my opinion and that also goes for the rest of the games in the Trails series. I heavily recommend people to try these games out. I can guarantee you'll enjoy them if you're a turn-based JRPG fan.

Before you play this game, please make sure you have a decent system, especially your CPU because this game is poorly optimized on PC I'm not gonna lie.

Performance issues aside, I just can't fathom the amount of depth this game has as far as the story and lore goes. From judging it on surface level, you wouldn't even think that this game would deliver such a thought-provoking story.

The game has incorporated deep philosophical meaning in its narrative and I believe that this is one of the few games out there that could possibly trigger your existential crisis. Its an absolutely brilliant and underrated way of storytelling and has characters with so much depth that they just feel...very human. The soundtrack is just breathtaking to listen to while playing and it definitely enhances your experience in the world. From epic battles to simply just running around, you just can't help but feel that each song tells an underlying story beneath your gameplay.

The gameplay might feel repetitive however but that doesn't mean it ultimately ruins the experience. In my experience at least, it has helped me focus more on the narrative while playing due to not being required to try that hard to play. It's like a trade-off in my opinion.

Been a while since I've played this game but boy, it was breathtakingly amazing. You would not regret buying this for such a low price. This game has tons of content in it and has massive replay value.
