Simple point-and-click game with great art, music, and atmosphere.

A good game sadly tarnished by a horrible publisher pushing horrible decisions.

The final boss in Greed Mode has to be one of the best boss fight ever designed.

Child of Light is simply beautiful.

It has a detailed and rich 2D visuals with unique artstyle, with smooth animations.

The active-time based strategy allows a variation of strategy and timing, since, aside from just selecting actions, you are able to manipulate your enemies' timer. It was nice and refreshing to play an old-school system with a new twist.

The music does the job nicely. It's soothing, dreamy, and fantasy-like. I have to say it reminds me of a mobile rhythm game, Deemo.

The story uses the troupe of light vs darkness, it does work on RPGs, and I feel Child of Light hit it quite well.

Overall Child of Light is beautiful to watch, fun to play, and it feels like playing a classic RPG.

Difficulty level done right. 'Quite hard' mode is where all the challenge and fun (and restarts), while the easier two is for relaxing and enjoying the game.

Plenty of replay value. There's a lot of items and combinations, and finishing the game unlocks even more items and secrets.
