the outer wilds puts you in the body of a hearthian ready to embark on their first orbital launch, with the task to explore the galaxy. every planet has a distinct setting and personality all brimming with intrigue and ruins, while every smaller locations (moons and stations) of interest emit connections to a bigger image; each of which are free to explore in an open-ended manner. the navigation of certain plots or paths serve both as the exploration and puzzles. the main reward you get from the gameplay is a type of knowledge that can or will help you later on. patience and comprehension are the most important trait to keep when experiencing this game, it can help you with the lore gathering, the puzzles and space flight. most of outer wilds is played by yourself in you intimate ship, but there's a lack of loneliness from the npcs you will meet up with, just follow the music. the npcs are beneficial with their insights, directions and hints; and even a game mechanic. i was captivated by my search of the planets and locations, sadly i won't be able to experince this game afresh. i cannot stress this enough, do not look anything up about and play it blind. had i been spoiled, i possibly would never had touched this spectacular game.

i'll make a better review once it leaves early access but for now i just want to support this project in hopes that grows fruitfully

fantastic little game. i love the artstyle, the music too and the stages are pretty fun my only gripe is how little there is of the game. the boss variety is pretty decent and challenging even when i fail a level i'm still enjoying my time with it. the subliminal story is decent and guides well into the level themes, so there was no surprise from me seeing that parry nightmare was an indie game contest winner. although the current tag may be misleading, "bullet hell" which yes this does exhibit those qualities but i would equate this more to the "survivor" genre. alas i am not so experienced in survivor games so i cannot give a concrete opinion on my previous statement
this game is great for if you need to kill an hour and it's short length opens up the possibilities of replay. i just wish there was a couple more levels.

i thought i was gonna get a game similar to rockstar's bully but it's closer to the yakuza games only it's just combat but the combat is a knock off sifu so it's kinda boring
the voice acting is pretty funny at times, if they used better 3d models i would softly recommend this game

i did not like the game. i wanted to like the game, but i could not like the game.
the game is very boring and not in a fun way. the driving is not exciting and the in-game music is also not exciting. the exploration is lackluster and most the people you meet are not compelling; but i will say they are voice acted pretty good i just wish the character models matched that aspect.
the performance i had dealt with is not what i expected. some graphical flashing on wall textures, and the game crashed when i tried to deliver mail into a mailbox sideways. which ultimately sealed the deal for me.

game should not be $20 and i don't even recommend to get it on sale.
