Bethesda decided that woke politics is more important than a good story.

The human race in Starfield is sterile, boring, monotonous, and ridiculous. NPC's lack personal stories that are compelling. All women take hard labor jobs such as mining. Women are not attractive. Women aren't mothers. Children, families, relationships....just don't exist (compare to Skyrim where there are so many wives, husbands, fathers, children, orphans, grandparents, triumph and tragedy, dreams and broken hearts...a real human world).

There is an astounding lack of the "feminine" in Starfield. Attractive, feminine women?
No way. Not allowed to exist. There is an astounding lack of "masculine" in the galaxy. Tough good guys with bravado and machismo? Nope. The entire human race is neutered.

All humans in Starfield are neutered down into monotonous, impersonal copies of themselves.

In the same way that all planets in Starfield look diverse but feel the same, the humans of Starfield all look diverse, but feel the same.

With all the races in Starfield, where are the different cultures? Where are the interpersonal dynamics? I want to "feel" the different cultures of the different races. But I feel nothing.

No matter how many human NPC's I talk to in Starfield, I feel the same NPC over and over and over again, whether it is a man, woman, or some other gender, no matter the race, all NPC's are the same person.....except (ironically) for the bad guys.

The horribly neutered vision of humanity in Starfield is the primary reason I quit playing. So utterly boring, and not compelling one bit. Not emotionally engaging. Flat. Sterile. Equal, Monotonous. Soullless.

Back to Skyrim, where the world feels far more human.
