Early Access Review
Certainly enjoying the game so far, particularly the Cthulhu theme, which is a great. While some mechanics could benefit from further refinement, the development team has been highly responsive to bug reports on the forums, addressing issues promptly. Very cool!

Given the ongoing improvements and the current price of €22 in early access, I would recommend giving it a try.

Iä! Iä! Cthulhu fhtagn!

Really big step down after GWENT single player story with Meve. No cool mechanics, slow gameplay and got boring after few battles/turns. Refunded sadly. :(

12 hours in, after thinking "I will only purchase it to have it ready when the game releases and might give it a quick go to try it out now" and it is so good. Hades 1 was awesome and this is even better. Enjoying it!

I've died like 10 times within 15 minutes of gameplay, while managing to not spot an enemy ONCE. Then I got lost, enemy unit of 5 soldiers passed me and I shot all of them from behind. They had no idea what was happening.

Also squad full of talking people and playing together is one of the most enjoyable moments in online gaming.

Currently broken game - speech recognition does not work - cannot talk to ghosts. Slow on updates and fixes, feels abandoned.

At this point, I do not think Starfield is worth the price tag of a triple-A game.

Every criticism that others have mentioned is correct: loadings, bad UI, etc. I've been playing with mods (inventory, undelayed menus, and other quality-of-life improvements) since the beginning. Without them, I don't think I would even last 10 hours.

The game lacks so much content, and decisions do not seem to matter; not that the ones you make are somehow important. Whether you choose to do something evil or good, everyone forgets about it afterward. Exploring planets becomes boring and not enjoyable after visiting just two of them. Spending an hour trying to find that last trilobite to achieve 100% completion does not feel satisfying. All you get in the end is a little bit of experience points and credits. Credits become worthless once you purchase a good ship. The gameplay does not change and is not enjoyable from the start.

Some quests are okay, maybe even good, but not great. I've played a fair bit of the main quest, and it doesn't feel like something I would want to explore further. Hopefully, I can at least finish it.

The game needs a lot of attention from the developers, but I'm afraid it won't happen because Bethesda is now part of a massive corporation. Of course, modders will do their best to patch it together, but even they may be unable to modify the game too extensively, like allowing seamless travel from the surface to space without loading screens.

I am disappointed, Todd. :(

I am not the biggest cRPG fan, but this game feels more than your "average" cRPG, it is really good so far. Been long since I had 12hr gaming sessions.

edit: Well, after 110hrs give or take, I have managed to finish BG3, the game is crazy detailed, I know I have missed a lot of stuff while trying my best to explore everything I can. Certainly one of the best games I have had the chance to play.

Thought I would not really enjoy the game as I have never really been into ARK/Rust types of games, but I really enjoy Conan Exiles to my surprise. Big shoutout to Angaar on youtube, who has GREAT new player guide/play through. I would be lost without his videos, he explains the mechanics and what does what really well.

I like the mature setings, boobs and penises are fun to see, enslaving people is also fun, modding is really easy thanks to workshop and I surprisingly put many hours into building. Building system works pretty well I would say.

Oh and I play only in single player on my own, without worry of other players.

Terrible optimization and performance. I've played for a bit, had crazy fps drops during combat. Now the game does not even launch, just crashes to desktop after Bandai Namco logo, no errors etc.

edit 09.04.: Seems to work better, few stutters here and there, but it is kinda playable hooray.
