UPDATE: Any development company that listens to it's community deserves to live and prosper. The Buff Diver Update, creating a tide that lifts all equipment, is great. It's not to say there aren't still problems, but it's a huge step up. Now, if only they can get Playstation to back-off the PSNetwork requirement...

ORIGINAL REVIEW: There is no point in investing any time and effort for any rewards or warbonds since the devs will eventually nerf what you were grinding for. Instead of nerfing what works, make the other weapons WORK BETTER and become viable with more utility.

This is one of the few seminal watershed games that should be played by every hobbyist or serious gamer. Tight gameplay and with simple mechanics by ThatGameCompany, a monumental score my Austin Wintory. A bit of a mediocre port with some stuttering, but there is a dedicated fanbase still playing this amazing game after 10 years... and I'm one of them! I plan to be a white robe sherpa. If you see me, give me chirps!

i REALLY, REALLY LOVE HAVEN. If you like a relatively relaxed, moderate-length action RPG game, Haven is definitely worth a play.

The mechanics are intuitive and very clear, as are the active time battles.

The music was very good and the audio is good.

But the best part of the game is just experiencing the relationship between Yu and Kay, and the sheer number of audio dialogue. Most impressive to me is the inclusion of the couples update; not going to lie, I bought and played the game because of it.

I'd love to see a sequel, either involving the same characters, or new couples, possibly in a new location or even the current location. The game ends with many questions that leaves so many possibilities.

PROS:

* Very Good Audio cues and audio locationing
* Infinite replayability and respawning depending on difficulty selected
* Relaxing Survival game

CONS:

* Simple Game with Simple Mechanics
* Lots of time wasted in inventory management
* Can get boring with repetitive tasks
* Relaxing Survival Game
* Lock-on in Combat is wonky

This is a good, relaxing side-game with simple survival mechanics.

I especially enjoy the sailing.

Combat is a little simplistic and lock-on can get wonky when there are multiple opponents or when the opponent goes into stealth mode.

Item and food degradation is sort of strange - jerky, if made properly can last for months, for years if store bought irl.

Needs tool maintenance and more metal.

If I can't find what I want within the chapter, I just die so I can get more stuff.

Ppaywalling, skill walling, activity walling the best stuff.
