Its a fantastic open world game that feels like a mini-horizon experience. The biggest problem and the reason there are so many negative reviews is the absolute tax that is the in-game economy. The tuning parts are far too much money for people that like to tinker with certain cars. I think if they doubled the race rewards (i've been playing for 8 hours and I still only make $7k for winning a race and tuning parts for my level cost around $28k.. each..) it would really fix the game. Really enjoyable game otherwise and I hope they continue to update and improve the experience.

- Constant crashing for me and my friends
- 2v2 Removed
- 10 bland maps
- No Zombies (yes i know not this year)
- No combat record
- No challenges

Is this even a call of duty?

This game will hook you with its base mechanics and leveling system. But there are a few glaring issues.

1: The Jetpack is absolutely way too OP at breaking the game. Its extremely easy just to be trying to explore and flying up the side of the cliff to see that the map actually just ends right there and completely breaks the "light".. immersion you were in.
2. The map size. TOO SMALL.For a game that doesn't have any enemies and focuses purely on exploring and survival. We need a way bigger map to explore with a lot more caves / landscape diversity.

Overall: Great on the steam deck and great to sink hours into.

Content updates have been pretty much abandoned by the Developers. Great game for the first 10-20 hours or so. Content gets stale FAST. Progression hits a ceiling.

It has been over a year since any interesting update.

Meh. For a clearly Unreal Engine game I was expecting the graphics and gameplay to not be as clunky. This game plays like an indie Unity game with a thin coating of fake ray tracing.

The AI are especially boring for a game thats centered around AI. everyone basically says the same thing to being ticketed as well as basically the same monotone voice.

Even as a person that really liked Arma Life cop stuff as well as LSPDFR this just misses for me.

EDIT: Game-breaking multiplayer bugs that still haven't received a patch and wont till atleast the end of the week as of writing this review. This is crazy. I have never seen a game launch this broken and the developer delay the hotfix for this long. Me and my friends cant even drive together because of the dissapearing bug that is affecting EVERYONE.

Falls short of what I excepted as a next step in the franchise. Especially considering the time gap from FH4.

I love the horizon series, but with every new release it seems as if the game is progressing at a shockingly low pace for things that fans have been asking for since FH2... We are getting the bare minimum solely for marketing material to get us to come back and buy the game.

To their Credit. Here I have a list of things that they have added that the fans have specifically asked for:

- Wide-body Kits (suprisingly poor collection considering they added them last series. Alot of us were expecting much more selection this year, but no)

- Blueprint race creator with the ability to place objects(definitely an awesome feature, but in its current state no one that plays my blueprints gets to see any objects I place allowing them to bypass ramps, etc... broken)

- Better Mountain Roads (This map has a few incredible mountain roads)

- Wheel Track Width change (really cool, but why cant we just change it to whatever width we like for every car. not certain widths only on certain cars? This is something need for speed has had for YEARS)

- Paint your brake calipers

And here is a list of things that they have not added for the past 3-4 games that fans have voiced to be added.

- More Suspension adjustability for things like stance cars. Allow full range track width adjustment and more camber options for a start.

- ACTUAL GARAGES!!! . We already have player owned houses. How about being able to walk through your own garage/house to see your car collection / current car? We could upgrade the garage by buying a more expensive house, lots of possibilites here. I really really hope this is something that is integrated within this series eventually. Game changer.

- Convertible top up and down functionality

- Any sort of Interior customization. Even just changing the color of the main stiching or leather would be enough. As someone who plays first person most of the time this really bothers me.

- MORE FORZA WING OPTIONS! Why is it that we have a general wing that fits on every car yet its literally the exact same wing design? Why not add a few variations that we can choose from? This cant be that difficult. Being a car guy and knowing car people that love this game we all absolutely despite the look of the ebay style forza wing. Please give us more general wing options for each car.

- Windshield stickers in the livery editor. I cant be the only one that finds it super ironic that the picture for the livery editor features a car with a livery you cant actually replicate in the game? (Windshield stickers all over it)

- Exhaust Tuning . Ability to change things like burble and backfire amount in the tuning section.

- Tuning tutorial or help. I myself know how to tune cars but the fact that the tuning menu has looked identical for the past 5 games bothers me. It desperately needs a tutorial or easier interaction for new players that are terrified by it and don't know how to properly do anything that could be necessary when creating something like a drift car.

- Japan. But I feel as though this games map does a good job

- Headlight and Taillight tint. not my cup of tea but should be an incredibly easy feature to add.

- Npc's, but i understand if this isn't something the developer wants to add. The cities in all games have felt extrodinarily lifeless and need some sort of crowds (that obviously jump out of the way if you try to hit them like in past racing games to keep it rated E).

- the ability to walk around your car in the world . We have so many options to customize our character yet we cant even go anywhere? We already have drone and photo mode which means that walking around in first person is extremely possible. This would be great for things like online car meets. Not a must but would be a great feature.

- Half decent off-road physics . For a game that constantly shoves us offroad and presents us with these cool new offroad vehicles and trucks. The rock and object climbing physics are laughably bad. Its almost like the suspension model or hit box model itself is just completely broken.

And there are definitely things i'm missing on both sides. The games current network connectivity problems make it unplayable with friends unless you are strictly doing races. I hope the day one patch fixes all issues and brings it back to the okay game it should be.

- Great graphics
- Decent races
- Great mountain roads
- Beautiful Map
- Lifeless Cities
- Badly rubber banding drivatars. Worse than any other previous Forza. Dont set difficulty to expert otherwise they will magically gain 500 hp in a straight line even though you're in the exact same car.
- Loads of network problems

Overall: 6/10.

Definitely worth playing, but a disappointing addition to the franchise.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the business aspect of this game, its so easy to get immersed within the capital growth aspect of the game starting a website and selling off shares to buy out other shares on your other website. very addictive game, not much replayability but definitely worth the 10 dollars.

This is by far the most entertaining arcade game i have ever played. The only thing that keeps this game alive for me is the multiplayer.

The multiplayer: The online really makes you strive for perfection in this game. the tracks are so complex and memorable that its very easy to learn the corners and braking lines so you can keep striving for that first place time. i am very glad there are no collisions because this would be the most hated racing game on the market if there was. The need for a better time online in this game is the best reason to play this game. You will keep wanting to improve and get to the top of the leaderboard.

The customization: The map customization is great, its not that detailed but is very fun to mess about with for an hour or so. The car customization is non-existentant but what i am very happy about is that with mods you can change your car model to anything you want without changing the performance! it is very cool to see lamborghinis and ferraris in -game alongside with the stock cars in the game!.

Overall Score: 8.9

Cons:
No Game-core (campaign, Story, proper leveling system)

Pros:
Multiplayer
The arcade handling
Moddable cars
Track builder
Graphics

DO NOT BUT THIS IF YOU DO NOT OWN AGE OF EMPIRE'S 2, AOE2 is so much better in every single way. this game is overall a downgrade in quality. In AOE2 it contains many more features, custom map building, steam workshop texture packs, characters, maps. this contains none of what i just listed. DO NOT BUY
