Ok, wanted to vote Neutral , I enjoy the idea behind the game and did enjoy the first level. the second was great up till the end trying to get the musical note and dying.. 9 times.. and thats where it ends..

I quickly learned that to get more lives I had to play the challenge mode.. so instead of building you up in difficulty you are forced to play an easy level.. a slightly harder one to a stupidly difficult in order to get more lives..

I do like the game and the premise.. there are other options regarding lives.. make it score based so if you die you lose points, make it 3 lives per go.. make the challenge give you other things rather than lives.. maybe slo-mo perks or somthing..

the kicker is I want to play more but its like camping in COD there is only so much I can take..

Not too bad a game. I have a nasty feeling that this is gonna be a time trap. I thought I would play for an hour last night. 6am I went to bed after a 7 hour session...

so. maybe an ingame alarm clock.. either to tell me when to sleep or one to wake me up when I'm drooling on the keyboard.

After playing the "x" series of games, to say that X Rebirth is different is an understatment. alot of the features are buggy but workable. numerious crashes and annoying traits.. However.. after 24 hours of playing I capped my second Capital ship.. the one not in the storyline but a reaver one :) the sense of achivement was there as it was in all the other X series of games..

so if I can still have fun in a "buggy but workable" game when egosoft have ironed out the glitches we should all be in for a winner..

also lets not forget what the masses bring to the game with their mods. after all.. X3 wasnt great till the mods and patches.

I hope this review is useful to some of you. All i see is negative comments when reading the reviews..

oh and SETA gone.. I believe that was the biggest hurdle for multiplayer.. just sayin.. :o)
