Solid game, great with your friends as a survivor. They have an option for premade lobbies so your friend can be the killer! Infinite perk combos and fun interactions so the game is never stale. IMO pretty balanced at the moment once you learn the maps and how to loop.

My only criticism is that you need to buy DLC to get new perks and you could easily spend $60+ on dlcs and not have all the dlc made for the game....Pretty damn spendy. They do have a way to get perks using in game currency that you can earn but that takes forever and that shop only lets you buy two perks at a time of their chosing and it resets every week so there really isnt any quick way to get the perks you want without purchasing the dlc.

A game for gamers.

Best rpg strategy game that I've played hands down. They've done nothing but perfect the gameplay and storytelling throughout the Divinity games.

This game was introduced through a friend of mine through the remote play feature where we played duo survival before the multiplayer patch (I think)....And ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥...This game was TOUGH. I found myself dying from a small scratch from a zombie...To Being bed bound after breaking my leg and being completely useless; my buddy had to carry my actual dead weight for in game days before I could contribute to the group again, only for me to die at a movie theater to...You guessed it...A damn SCRATCH. After that I quit because this game was so damn realistic and hard. I came back and purchased it on my own after a year and I slowly learned the game from many, many excruciating deaths. There were so many playthroughs where I had it all, and I was progressing pretty steadily, only to die to a small group of zombies that I lazily fought. This game keeps you on edge at all times and I love it.

For some context I am relatively new to survival games, the only one I've really played being Rust. (...It's a survival game if you count the the toxic player base as a survival game mechanic. :) ) and I feel like this is a really good game to introduce someone if they're looking for a survival genre game that you can play with friends and have it still be difficult. The combat is great and thrilling even when facing a small number of z's and the survival mechanics are top notch during the mid to late game stages of the game. (if you make it that far)

As of now I think this game deserves a buy at full price, sale price is even better.

One of the best story games of the 21st century. You will NOT regret spending your 99 cents -- it has a girthy amount of content and a long play through.
