Although I thought the story was getting a little too strange by the end of the game, leaving me with a few questions in my head, this VN is actually pretty damn good alright. The characters are a bit stereotypical but it honestly didn't bother me (which usually does), the protagonist's story is very interesting and I've never saw that twist coming at the end, seriously caught me off guard. The romance is also very sweet.

This is the future the liberal wants

As I'm writing this review I played 132 hours in the last two weeks, making it 163 in total. Pathea has come a long way since My Time At Portia (which, admittedly, I didn't play much) and My Time At Sandrock has easily become one my favorites """Farming"" simulators, even if it's still in early access. Here are the things I enjoy the most.

• Interesting characters with side quests that add to their personality and story;
  
• Interesting main story and world building;
  
• Many, many things to do. Farming, building, fighting, etc, with an rpg-like twist to it. Kinda reminds me of Rune factory;
  
• VERY GOOD voice acting. Seriously it's soooooo much better than Portia;
  
• Nice character costumization options with more to come.

The list goes on but these are the main things I look out for the most when I'm playing a new sim game. I can also list some downsides such as buggy cutscenes and in-game events but those come with the territory of being early access. If you enjoy immersing yourself in sim games like I do, I'm sure you will enjoy MtaS as it is, and even more so when it comes out as a completed game. Do yourself a favor and buy this game.
