Let's see, how do I start this recommendation...
UTTER ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ -- DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!
There are good things I can say about this game, but I will absolutely refuse to because of how many bad things there are.

Let's get this party rocking!
The story is utterly cliche, a man separated from his family, oh boo hoo, he hasn't found his wife or *DAUGHTER* (of course it has be a daddy's princess and not his son). As a husband and father of 3 (2 sons & a daughter) you'd think I'd connect with him, but absolutely not, he's whiney and a ♥♥♥♥♥. He is not a manly man despite the fact he's a Canadian Mountie who spends all his times in the wood. Again, not a manly man, a ♥♥♥♥♥.

You can choose to use guns but you'll be penalized. A gun shot will bring in more zombies than the original shot was worth. The shotgun is about as effective as throwing rocks at someone from a mere 10 feet away. I tried to use a strategy where I'd lure the "shadows" (aka zombies) into a spot below me, about 2 feet below my feet and it was 1 shot per zombie, no spread, didn't kill them. I own a Remington 870 12ga, I now how disgustinly powerful a shotgun blast is, I literally tried to find opportunities to use this gun and it is piss poor. In addition you can't use it on humans, they'll shoot you before your kleenex buckshot tickles their nose. I found, more often than not, I would shove or hit zombies once and then *~magically~* jump over them while they were dazed. The zombies have a "belly-high wall" that you can jump over their animation with. Yup. You can vault 6 foot high zombies if you only aim the jump for their chest.

I heard the words "The safe point is no more than a trap used to hunt the survivors" around 30 times. See this youtube video: /watch?v=0bFpTmpBS80 . This game demands absolute platforming perfection in multiple instances after being fair and semi-lax the majority of the game.

And last and definitely not least, my absolute biggest gripe is the xbox port over. Every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ command is in xbox language, press RT (right trigger), Press "A" to continue, Repeatedly tap "B" to escape. WHAT IN THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ ARE YOU ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ASK ME TO DO IN ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ COMPUTER KEY LANGUAGE? When the game says "Press any button or key to continue" what they're actually asking you to do is click your mouse. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ try it when yoiu die, it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

TL;DR ♥♥♥♥ this game.

This was a blast to play! The weapons are fun and effective, but ammo isn't readily available so fight or flight is a very serious decision in this game. This game is extremely atmospheric, it's well detailed and the sounds are great. Metro will suck you right into the Post-Apocalypse Moscow metro stations and you'll have a great experience while it does :)

A TD with a solid story line. I recommend this and it's very fun. It took probably 5-6 hours to beat if I remember right and I really liked it. I don't have a rating on the DLC that I purchased with it, but this game is very inexpensive, give it a try.
The story for this TD is what really stood out as your British narrator is basically the spirit, an AI of one of the previous defenders from hundreds of years before when the planet was being invaded. Very good stuff ;)

Orcs! Die! Fun! Kill!
I honestly find this game kinda stressful when you're solo and covering multiple paths that orcs are assaulting you on. I recommend this game with a friend and I recommend this game, have fun. It's expanded on what the first one was and I'd honestly call it "Orcs Must Die! Co-Op" because the core of the game hasn't changed.

This was a very, very good game. You owe it to yourself to try it out. Bastion starts off as a kinda fun, kinda "wtf happened" story about the end of the world. The narration is absolutely unique to the games I've played in the past as the narrator talks about what you just did... it... just... you gotta play it to know what I mean. Bastion ends up being like Metro 2033 that in the end you see more of the dark elemental of the human soul. The story gets much heavier at the end and then the ending can reflect that heaviness, or the hope after this apocalypse, your choice.

Man, was this a good game! The mechanics and stuff are absolutely horrid and the UI could use some clarification (I still don't know what half the buffs were), but the game play and story is a blast.
In the witcher you have a straight forward quest- get revenge. 40+ hours of gameplay got me there! The game is very fun, the combat I personally liked and it seems unique to what I've played so far. The witcher certainly had it's own unique feel. I highly recommend this game :)

Probably the fastest games I've reached 100 hours played. Civilization 5 is, to me, the fleshed out version of Civilization Revolution from the consoles. I never played a previous Civ aside from that one. This is well polished, it's interesting, there's lot of content and it's just one of those fun for fun's sake games. Wanna build a stone age army and try to take out your allies, go for it! Wanna wait out wars while others wipe each other off the map then go nuke happy? There's that choice too! There's 5 way different ways to win, military (capture capitols), diplomacy (make every like & ally you), cultural (yous is like all fancy fancy n stuf), science (I'm on a boat... in space) or the highest score at the end of set turns. The Gods & Kings expansion is highly recommended. This will add a few new units & leader to play with. It also adds religion which adds some new, fun, elements & bonuses. It also helps balance out the game and switches from a 10 hit point to 100 hit point system making combat significantly better.

Fun. I didn't know how an RPG FPS would work before I played the first Borderlands, but it's solid. Your guns have different elements like a minigun needing to spin up and other guns get more accurate as you shoot them. Against enemies that are higher level you'll do less damage & take more. Against lower level enemies it's the opposite. In comparison to the first- the story is significantly better, a solid villain and objective makes it much better, the guns all have a unique feel and eventually you'll get an idea of what fits your budget. The class skills are significantly better, even if the Commando's turret lost it's shield :(. All in all this is a very solid game. Like the first, the *story* DLCs are great, season pass is a decent deal.

Évaluation de CS:GO
It's Counter-Strike with gorgeous graphics, new maps, modified maps, new guns and crappy sound! Go go pub stars!
I expect this will take some time to make it to the competitive scene as did the previous versions of CS. If you're big into the series like I am then you already own it, if you aren't, well... this is a great game at a great price. The new matchmaking makes pick up & drop out unbelievably easy. If you want to get drunk hit 1 key and play, the casual mode is really fun. The new arms race is gun game from CS:S. Demolition is also like casual that you automatically get gear, but it's only 5v5 on very small 1 bomb site maps (1 map has 2 sites) and your guns are auto upgraded each round. Competitive recently got a revamp to more accurately give a ranking and better ELO matching accuracy.

I highly recommend this, but take it from the perspective of someone who pre-ordered the 1st day it was available and has been playing CS since 1.3.

Hands down one of the best releases of this year. Completion of a single play through took me around 16 hours for all 5 episodes and man does it get intense. For $25 this is a steal, on sale it's a no brainer. The game is heavily dialogue and story driven so don't expect a COD: Zombies experience. This was satisfying enough to make me curious to a 2nd playthrough with a different attitude (read: complete douche bag).
