Definitely try it, one of the best multiplayer actions out there! After both stages of beta testing I can say with full confidence that developers are working hard on this game and actually listen to feedback - even though they're getting reviewbombed for implementing paid customisation elements that have no effect on gameplay at all (Do people realise that free to play games aren't free to make? Devs chose the best option out of all!). Each mech has its own playstyle, stages are really well made, gameplay is dynamic, skillful and extremely enjoyable - with my whole heart I recommend it to everyone, it's really good and has a lot to offer.

Do not trust reviewbombers - people do not understand how kernel-level anticheat does work and, probably, do not understand that the game hasn't even released yet.
Mecha BREAK is one of the most dynamic, fast-paced multiplayer games I've played in a long time - and I must admit I missed them. Mech piloting feels smooth and every time you clinch with an enemy it feels like amazing mix of Ace Combat, Armored Core with slight hint of old Overwatch or even League tactics. Positions and movement are everything in this game and it's perfect, controls are very responsive so inertia of the mech is carefully balanced between heaviness of the machine and anime-style boosts to avoid projectiles and overwhelm enemies offense!
A lot of progress been made since august beta, there are new modes to choose from, even hangar is avalable to explore now - and it looks amazing, it's something that shows that this game is for mecha fans by mecha fans, attention to the details and appreciation to every mech design really shows
There are a lot of things that still in progress (and game's honestly showing hints like "this voiceover is yet to be finalized"), and for the size of Mecha BREAK it is totally understandable - but the gameplay is working and it's working great, don't hesitate to try!
Absolutely recommended, don't trust reviewbombing sheeps.
P.S.: Monetization isn't even out yet btw, so either negative reviews are from some different game or people are just mad at their own fantasies lol

Early Access Review
Honestly, just wait for it to go free - it's not worth it to be pre-alpha testing it. Servers are running on toasters, broken stuff is still in game, almost month after they started charging money for it. One-shot mechanics, trader-focused item evaluation, boring mandatory campaign - there is nothing worth the money to write home about.

It's like a SWAT 4 but with much more intelligent AI, amazing graphics and enjoyable co-op experience

Boring as hell. Enemies just watching you killing their mates most of the time, AI is dumb and straightforward as it can be. "Oldschool" mechanics are so out-of-place, they're just looks like the gimmicks that were made to sell the game but most importantly - they're don't feel like the real oldschool mechanics. Diagonal strafe speed is so unnaturally fast that it can be noticed that developer just band-aided this gimmick to be. Game has some technical issues as well, for example all the text in the menus can dissappear without any reason, or there can be random crashes.
It's free but it's really don't worth your time.

The game that that tries to look much more complicated and deep that it actually is, and it makes it cringy, not creepy. Plays like that generic horrors on Unity - all you do is walk and listen to that british voice actor who definitely was paid half of the budget of this game. It looks very good though - thx to Unreal Engine 4 i think. The visuals of this weather and the sounds of the wind are really good and i wish they were in another game - because this just feels like a techdemo. Much dissapointed, can't recommend it to even try a little bit. Instead just look at the screenshots and forget about this game.
