Very nice I like

The game is such a poorly optimized port that it's baffling. The only way to play it somewhat okay is to use a bunch of mods. Here are most of my complaints: the handling of the cars is atrocious except for the best ones. My autosaves didn't work for some reason, so the only way to save was with manual saves. This isn't that big of a problem, but the game crashed roughly every three hours, and because of that, I probably replayed 35% of the missions. Also, I couldn't finish TBoGT because around the middle of it, it started crashing on a specific mission. I tried reinstalling the game and even tried it on a different PC, but it only helped for a little while before it started crashing again.

About the story: the main one is alright at best, and with the exception of a few missions, it isn't anything special. TLAD was pretty good, but I didn't like the ending. TBoGT was also good, but since I wasn't able to finish it, I watched the rest of it on YouTube.

For the good stuff: hanging out with friends is pretty nice, maybe a bit comical but Tony sprints very fast which I like, also the different perspectives of the DLCs are pretty cool.

In summary, while there are some enjoyable aspects, the game suffers from severe optimization issues and frequent crashes, which significantly hinder the overall experience.

Solid story and very fun gameplay

Very nice, pretty casual game

The game is amazing. Storywise is amazing and very interesting, the gameplay is very good. One of the main points of the game except the story is the cars and the driving and it doesn't disappoint. The only things that I didn't like in the game are that I felt the brakes were too weak, most of the times when I wanted to stop there was a big braking distance and the other thing is that the game is a little buggy it's nothing like mafia3, but still it's is a little buggy, I suppose it's because they are on the same engine and also in order to be able to play over 60hz even thou I had more fps that that I needed to change some things in the game files.

The game is ok. Storywise is good but it's extremely repetitive and one other extreme thing are the bugs, you can meet them all around. From some small ones like when you need to talk to someone for your mission but you can't because who knows why and you need to restart the game in order to talk to him to some bigger ones like mine, in one of the latest missions you need to kill one of the biggest bosses, but he captures you and you need to untie yourself from a chair and kill him, but every time when I untied myself I glitched while standing up and froze. Most of the times glitches like this one can be overcome with a restart of the game or loading the latest checkpoint, but in my case nothing worked, I replayed the mission 4-5 time and even reinstalled the game. Thankfully I still got my old pc and I installed the game there to see if something will change and after the casual 2 glitches before they capture me witch occurred on both pc I didn't glitch after the rope and managed to kill him. The first game was amazing, the second I didn't like, the story was mid and there were glitches/bugs too and the third was ok but there are even more glitches/bugs.

The game is very chill and it ain't very hard unlike most survival/strategy games. The only thing I don't like about the game is that you can beat it for 10hours witch is very fast, the world/map is pretty small. But it is a very enjoyable game.

For me the story was pretty mid and it ends at a strange place personally. That is the good part. Now how tf is this a definitive edition, look at mafia 1 (the game was very good only a little buggy) it's on a new engine everything is reworked, here you just have a better texture mod plus one or two small things. The game is extremely buggy, I even needed to replay one whole chapter because Joe had just frozen and I couldn't continue the mission, I tried everything and the only way for him not to be stuck was to replay the whole chapter. Also most of the short cut scenes just end suddenly when I feel for sure they should be longer. One of the few things that I really liked about the game was the hand to hand combat (boxing) and that the cars had good brakes unlike the cars in the previous game.
