The gameplay loop and overall concept are great, but it's near impossible to finish this game because of the poor performance the PC port has. I got 8 hours in with repeated crashing, sudden drops in framerate to 10 fps that wont go away and infinite loading screens.

the learning curve on this game is steep, so keep that in mind when considering to buy this title. when you do get the hang of it however, this game is very rewarding.

For what this game is so far, it's great. Honestly wouldn't have thought that an unfinished game would already play this well. Some parts still do feel somewhat buggy, but this is to be expected for a title in early access.
The skateboarding feels really intuitive, but the controls take some getting used to. This is from someone who has played the EA Skate games a lot, so the muscle memory from those games took some time to get rid of.
I'll admit that I still don't fully have the hang of the controls, but working on that is part of the charm this game has.
Overall I think that it's already worth the buy if you're looking for a really realistic skateboarding game.

One of the better and most engaging games I've played in a while. The story and final sequence really grabbed me, and I honestly have no idea how people consider this to be a rushed game.
Visually this game looks amazing, and the lightning effects were really good.
Overall, writing this off as yet another "walking simulator" is really dismissing this title for what it is, a great atmospheric way of storytelling.

I've seen a lot of people complain about this game. It either drags on too long or too little happens. But for the hour thatit took me to complete this game, I thought it was a pretty nice experience. The sound design is great, and you have no idea what kind of turn the game will take. Did the gun you pick up imply that there will be combat, or is it the item that will cause the game to branch off into a suicide ending? These questions kept on bugging me throughout the game, which is what made it a nice experience.
