Decent campaign.

Condition Zero had massive potentional to become the successor of CS 1.6. The main reason why it failed so miserable is mainly because of it's release date and the countless companies that worked on the game like Turtle Rock Studios, Gearbox Software, etc.. CS:CZ was released at a time where the Source engine was right around the corner, CS: Source was almost finished and Half Life 2 was going to release soon. For a 2004 game it really is underrated, again because of the said things above. The squad building system is really well made for a game that's almost 20 years old, the HD textures are really good, the bots are decent and the entire game is honestly well made with very few bugs and misaligned objects. I would highly recommend to buy this game if you are looking for an old school first-person shooter!

Hidden gem. What started out as a mod for Half-Life made by 2 dudes in 1999 grew to the largest FPS franchise in the world. This game may be old, clunky and overall dated, but you can still have a load of fun with it.

Despite this game being 19 years old it still fairly holds up.Sure,the graphics are not the best however if youre looking for a Counter Strike game that doesn't look like it's from the 90s and it doesn't look like it's from the 2010s then CS Source is for you.
The gameplay is balanced,maps are good and overall the game still holds up.One thing I'd like to see is more players on this game though.

- the story is just so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid, its literally just retired old man helps a young dude rob heists and then his old friend comes and tries to kill him
- the online mode is just not fun. the same cars from story mode instead of costing 500k now cost 50 million, the non- story mode cars are just too expensive and you need to grind for days or even weeks just to get a 5mil truck which gets blown up by griefers.
every single online session that i was in had griefers, modders, tryhards and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in general
i literally had the most fun playing LSPD:FR, a literal mod for the game
if you want a good story and good online- dont buy
if you want massive amounts of mods- buy
