Used to be fun despite the repetitive grind back in 2012/2013, but the developers continuously made poor decisions such as removing anything fun from the game including nerfing Nova, Trinity, Frost, Excalibur, etc. into the ground to the point that they were unusable; adding a new 3D interface that no one asked for; adding extremely horribly unbalanced PVP that no one wanted which usually resulted in spawn camping; constantly adding new exclusive weapons through events that rendered most other weapons useless; and so on. When it came time to make abilities free instead of equipping them, they sliced off two mod slots randomly and didn't bother to compensate anyone who had applied several formas to their frames. After trying to re-visit this after not playing for a few years, finding my entire dojo and clan completely deleted was the icing on the cake. I would avoid this game at all costs, since the developers do not value their player base.

DayZ was originally completely broken and unplayable when it first came out, much to my disappointment.. but after re-visiting it several years later, I can say that it has definitely come a long way, with countless improvements and new features! While a lot of gameplay mechanics and controls may not be very intuitive, it plays fairly well once you get used to it. The community has also come together to create a lot of amazing content, most notably in my opinion, the Namalsk world, which is amazing in its own regard. I've found my own ways to have fun and really enjoy the game in its current state, so overall I would recommend it if it suits your interests and playstyle.

Super fantastic co-op experience - mine minerals and shoot bugs to your hearts content. Developers are listening to feedback and pushing continuous updates. Great community, but even better if you bring your friends!

A wonderful hand-crafted love-letter to all the classic shooters. Very simple concept with excellent execution. Haven't had this much fun with a shooter in a while. Definitely worth checking out!

Truly a remarkable achievement with incredible attention to detail, atmosphere and character development. The third installment in this post apocalyptic series explores some new gameplay styles and mechanics, which is a welcome breath of fresh air. A worthy successor to Last Light, it really takes you on a post apocalyptic rollercoaster like no other, with some sections of the game transforming it into straight horror. Only encountered a couple minor bugs on version 1.0.0, definitely polished and well-tested. Only complaint is that the boat steering definitely needs improvements. It is really unfortunate that this was pulled from Steam so suddenly, but that aside this is a fantastic game.

Fairly fun game, there is a lot of repetition and loads of issues ranging from frequent crashing, actions interrupting input for far too long, low field of view with no customization, no support for anything beyond 30 FPS despite having menu options for 60 and 144hz. It's about as bad of a console port as you can get. Trying to play co-op with your friend is confusing and frustrating and requires you to play the game for several minutes before they can join you.. Weapons break very easily and have low ammunition but there are items everywhere. Not very interesting, I enjoyed the first dead rising more. Feels like a downgrade for sure.

I cannot unfortunately recommend this game in its current state. It used to be fun, but now it's more of a buggy full time job than a game and you can't get anything done unless you have a huge group of people working together.

Best game I've played in a long time - great community, lots of teamwork and lots of fun! Pick it up if you don't already have it!

Singularity is an awesome, highly underappreciated game. Had a lot of fun with it, great story and design. Gameplay was rather linear, but there's no problem with that. This steampunk, time travelling, plot twisting, monster-filled shooter adventure wont let you down!

Metro 2033 is a fantastic debut game from 4A Games. The overall design, atmosphere and feel of the game is great. Highly recommend this game if you don't already have it, or if you liked S.T.A.L.K.E.R., or just love post-apocalyptic style shooters in general. Can't wait for Last Light!
