A very middle of the road RTS
Great visuals, great mech designs
Great campaigns (mostly)
The rest is either middle of the road, good but bogged down by bad systems or just bad.

Terrible performance, constant stuttering, many audio bugs, long load times, but still playable.
Loading Saves will resume the game for a couple of seconds before fading in.
Saves will not pause the game but stutter your control for a few seconds on saving or quick saving.
Several second delay on pressing the Escape key till the UI shows and the game pauses.
Loading saves can change AI behaviors, including making them very mad and throw everything at you.

Game balance is odd, many units are odd in how good/terrible they are
Artillery units (specifically the rusviets artillery unit) are immensely overpowered
The flanking system (rear armor) is mostly used against the AI as you would rarely turn your back to the enemy and they will rarely (if ever) flank. Overall the flanking and armor system is great but the acceleration on literally everything including infantry is so terrible it makes it just bearable rather than having a fun system.

Pretty great campaigns, the entire playtime of this review (no DLC)
Played on Hard, it was Hard, AI blatantly cheated with infantry and mech spamming, had to be creative and set up defensive lines, take cheating fights, fun stuff and encouraged a lot more planning
On the third campaign it was the weakest of the three, storywise and gameplaywise.
(Way too many heros to handle and they lose their impact at this scale, Missions are overtuned, Finale is a click on unit mission)

If you want to play it for the campaign its nicely priced but dont expect much more from it. It has a weird risklike gamemode to try as well as skirmish/custom stuff and multiplayer as extra content. Also 100%ing the campaign with challenges is an option.

Mass Effect 1 is great
Mass Effect 2 is middle
Mass Effect 3 is amazing

Overall love the series, never played it before and was a great time.
Especially love how all the DLC content fits right in, never really noticed it except for taking back Omega DLC.
ME3 is the best in most regards, but I miss the Mako.
The Hammerhead has gained its status as the most hated vehicle I have ever driven in all of gaming.

A steal for its pricepoint (and it was on sale!)

Good for the price.
Was annoying to finish the game with the key mechanic and areas not being checked off for you. Had to do that mentally but didn't know to so had to search every area again over three runs. Weapon balance is also iffy.
