As a Battlefield series veteran with 1k+ hours in BF1 and in BF4, 500+ hours in BF3 / BFBC2 / BF2 respectively, I can say that this is one of the worst BF games, a total clusterf*ck to be more specific. When BF V was released, I thought that a bottom is reached, but seems that there still was a way to go even more down. Battlefield will never be the same, DICE will never be the same, that is for sure. EA will stay as it is.

If you just found out Battlefield series, and want to feel and experience the community which Battlefield games are know about, I suggest to rather buy BF4 or BF1 (especially when they are often on sale). This game I don`t suggest buying even on a sale, I`d rather purchase a COD game lol.

Oh, and as a cherry on top - I got a BSOD after pressing "quit game".

Наслаждайтесь, у меня таким образом получилось ее запустить.

Don't blame on BiS about this game. They are trying to have some experience for making competitive games (5x5).

What I can say about this game is that I've been playing it since alpha test.
It is kind of demo version of Arma 3, but at the same time it is a standalone game.
Comparing to Arma, it has skill tree, good graphics and different types of game modes.
The main issue for this game is it`s optimization problems, some bugs and too many teamkills because people are blind. One of other problems is input lag because of same as Arma 3 game engine, about it with more details you can watch HERE.
Also, it is a free game! So just enjoy it :)

If you want to support the project, you can buy Supporters pack for only 10€ and by doing that you will have some more character customization:)

P.S. If you have same settings in Argo as in Arma 3 and still having issues with FPS drop, then just try to minimize quality of shadows

It is free old redesigned map from good old flashpoint, so much nostalgia about it, thanks BiS!

Counter-Strike GO just got updated and now is called CS2, marking a new era in one of the most well-known FPS games.

As a person who went through a lot of CS games starting with CS 1.6, CS:Condition Zero, and, of course, CS Source, CS:GO was feeling as a very modern game.
After spending 2k+ hours in CS:GO, learning all possible tactics, smokes, making custom configs and binds, returning to CS every once in a while was fun. What was not fun is when the game initially became F2P, consequences of that being waves of cheaters every few months.

Now let`s talk about CS2.
Graphics improved a lot and all the dark spots are now brighter, maps feel more smooth and wider, which is good. A lot of great things were introduced in CS2, like new smokes, a lot of settings to customize your way of playing, ranking system changed and now you get an individual ranking for each map.

And that`s where good things end (in my opinion).

Here is the list of what still needs improvements and updates, and what needs to be added:

• Ranking system is really messed up right now
  You update to CS2, see that you need to win 10 matches to get your rank, you go competitive, win 10 matches only to realize that then you get a rank for specific map, and if you want to get a rank, or, what is now called CS Rating, you need to play Premier. Playing Competitive mode doesn`t really give you anything rather than rank for specific maps (and as of now, everybody gets Silver IV rank) and training those maps for Premier matches.
  Previous ranking system was more straight forward and easy to follow compared to new main CS Rating system with bunch of numbers - here is a detailed guide by me explaining new ranking system
  So forget about becoming The Global Elite - well, you can become such in Wingman, or on some maps, but what`s the point of that if nobody is gonna see your rank for the latter?
  
  
• Won matches count from CS:GO is reset
  Why remove amount of won matches for Competitive mode in CS:GO, but keep it and rank for Wingman?
  
  
• It`s not a separate game, but forced update
  Why merge CS:GO and CS2, when it is better to separate games? I mean, not everyone has a good PC to run those new graphics, with average player playing on a microwave/potato PC
  
  
• Weapons feel different
  It feels and seems that spray patterns have changed and/or weapon balance has been messed up - you can`t spray the same way with an AK-47, neither you can rush B with MAC-10, but you can now completely dominate with Nova shotgun
  
  
• No workshop custom maps 2.11.2023 update finally brings Workshop maps
  Forget about aim training on custom maps, forget about learning smokes/flashes etc, or basically warming up
  
  
• No way to practice efficiently on Practice mode
  Using basic warmup.cfg commands for in Practice mode with bots where you can practice smokes, etc. don`t work or are broken.
  Also as of now, not possible for your friend to join same practice custom map with you being host (other person is kicked out of lobby and can`t join your match).
  
  
• Autoexec.cfg
  A lot of commands / binds from custom CS:GO configs are rather not available, not working, or are introduced in settings officially. Example - you can`t change hands from right to left view.
  Oh yes, the path to autoexec.cfg is now changed
  
  
• Some launch parameters aren`t available
  "-novid" launch parameter doesn`t work
  
  
• No Danger Zone anymore
  I don`t know the reasons for removing that, I guess maybe not a lot of players played it?
  
  
• No Overwatch available
  You can already start to see a ton of cheaters, and reporting them doesn`t change anything for now (I guess Valve is busy creating skins for nades?)
  
  
• No group tags
  Custom group tags aren`t available in-game
  
  
• New maps (Ancient and Anubis) and removed (and still not introduced) old maps in Competitive mode
  Where is Train, Cache, Cobblestone?!
  Anubis feels like a schizophrenic version of Dust 2, while Ancient slightly reminds of de_aztec

They basically removed everything what was necessary for a pro/veteran player, and made it more casual and fancy looking for kids.

So, as a conclusion, CS:GO felt as a mature version of CS, while CS2 feels like Apex Legends / Fortnite, being more focused on skins, animations of player models, etc.
It might eventually become better, but for now, I doubt it.

Arma 3 is a FPS/TPS which is mistakefully counted as a simulator. It is close to a simulator because of its game mechanics, tactics that you can use, and a lot of weapons/vehicles.


Some pluses of Arma are:

• Huge maps
  
• Good graphics
  
• Devs support with new content even now after long time since the release
  
• Frequent updates with bug fixes
  
• Different game modes
  
• EDITORRRR!!!!
  
• Steam Workshop with a huge amount of mods
  
• Realistic mechanics and gameplay
  
• A lot of servers with friendly people, casual people, or serious guys with some badass
  tactics and realistic gameplay, not so many kids compared to other games in the same
  genre
  
• Not a big amount of cheaters comparing to other games

Some minuses are:

• A lot of bugs still even after release
  
• Requires a good PC to run these graphics and even then you will feel bad about your rig
  
• Might be hard for new players to remember all 99 key bindings, also not so casual,
  though there are servers which are more relaxed and might be fun for someone
  
• Too many DLC`s that you need to buy to join most servers
  
• Can be boring for casual players to run for 20 mins and then die from a tank or fly for 10 mins to the mission and then all squad gets wiped by one bot heli missile

Good game to play and find new friends, recommend it. Can be bought on sale as price goes down for -60% and DLCs are mostly not needed for some mods and servers.
