Blue Prince is an extremely ambitious puzzle game and actually pulls of a lot of things really well. The puzzles themselves are interesting and mostly fun to solve. I'd highly recommend people try this game and play to the credits. Getting to the 46th room is where this game really shine. The problems really stack up if you try to solve the remaining puzzles. The game does not value your time. Unique puzzles that have been solved reset every day, even though the solution is unchanged. Cutscenes are both unskippable and there is no way I have found to rewatch previously watched cutscenes. There is a specific room in the game that should you want to use it optimally requires you watch 8 unskippable cutscenes every single time you draft it. Or a puzzle that can take up to 10 hours to set up, but you need to solve that exact same puzzle a minimum of two times (and really, there is no reason the devs could not simply have let you solve the puzzle once and have it be an unlocked mechanic for the rest of the save file)

Simply put, the slow pacing of the game that is strong at the start also kills the pacing at the end. If you want to solve all the puzzles this game has to offer, I highly recommend you wait for this game to get updated with some QoL improvements or for someone to make a mod that speeds the game, allows cutscenes skipping, keeps unique puzzles solved indefinitely rather than just re-entering the same thing every time you enter a room, or maybe just cheat so you don't spend hours just to try to get the correct RNG to try to solve a puzzle.

Interesting concept for a game, but extremely long, tedious, and not really all that fun.

You'll find yourself spending most of the game manually repeating the exact same actions until you have something new you can try, usually eventually dying because something you tried had a game ending consequence. If runs were only a few hours a piece, I think the experimentation makes sense, but as it stands, I'm not about to dump another 30 hours in this game to feel like I understand how the game works and how you actually win.

Took about 3 hours to play the game from start to finish. Short, but enjoyable and engaging puzzles all the way through.

This game is a fun little mix between a platformer and a point and click adventure game. The story is simple, but enjoyable, the bosses are challenging and the game is short enough not to overstay it's welcome.

Overall, if you are a fan of old school point and click adventures as well as platforming games, this is a game you will likely enjoy as well.
