may best waifu, but the people i found for my region (SEA) during sunday of all times on sale weekend was few and far between, and i doubt the people that did join my lobby titled appropriately were even from the same region.

meanwhile in tekken i could play with japan with 3+ bars.
had to refund but would still recommend if your region has a more active playerbase on steam version.

ubisoft loves giving everything to the knights. where are the new vikings, samurais, and most importantly the wulin characters?
and even then the new knight hero is basically warden 2.0 :^) (with recycled animations from other characters)

old review:
as a player from southeast asia i was worried about the playerbase, but it never takes longer than 10 seconds to find a match in the popular game modes like dominion, tribute, and 1v1. the rest can take a bit more than that but im not really interested in them, also ranked modes have the longest wait times. healthy playerbase specially now after the free weekend. according to steamdb playernumbers jumped 3x from 4k to 12k, with many more not counted playing on uplay.

night and day difference from open beta. dedicated servers. hoping for an r6-siege like comeback since this game is really fun. so far it looks like the devs are really trying and have been supporting the game since release.

only complaint i have is that i wish we'd have more armor sets that actually look different and not just recolors with spikes added onto ALL of them at " higher tiers "

also centurions are the most annoying to fight as a new player, but thats par for the course to getting good.
any and all heroes can and will ♥♥♥♥ you up, however im not interested in the current DLC characters but thats fine because the base 12 are great imo.

overall im having a great time so far, its not as deep as actual fighting games like Tekken 7, but theres still a huge difference between button mashing and a player that knows how to play their hero properly.
