One of the best games I've ever played, especially when paired with Episodes One & Two. I got into the series way later than I should have, but it still lived up to and even exceeded the hype. If you haven't yet, you owe it to yourself to play through this series at least once.

The original Half-Life is a masterpiece in its own right, but it admittedly feels dated, especially compared to Half-Life 2. This remake fixes that, and then some. Crowbar Collective did a phenomenal job with this, and anyone who wants to get into the Half-Life series should start here.

Lives up to the Half-Life name and delivers some of the coolest moments in any video game I've ever played.

One of the most unique games on Steam. The late-game factory setups give me a brain aneurysm.

There's a reason this sits alongside Portal 2 as one of the highest-rated games in Steam history. From the iconic soundtrack and wholly unique aesthetic to arguably the best progression system ever made in a video game, I truly struggle to pinpoint a single glaring flaw in Terraria.

The sheer amount of content added since the game's release by Re-Logic is incredible. They managed to create several full games-worth of content updates at no extra cost to the player, completely overhauling and enhancing the experience all while sticking to the game's roots, maintaining what made it so special to begin with.

I convinced my grandma to buy it for me way back in 2011, and since then, no other game has compared. I legitimately think it's probably one of, if not the best game ever made. Hopefully we see more from Re-Logic in the future. It'd be a shame if they stopped at Terraria, but at least they'd end on a perfect note.
