I sadly cannot recommend this game, and it's sad for me to say, because I enjoyed so much of CS1. I really wanted to like CS2. I gave time, letting the dev team fix the bugs and issues affecting the game. And they did fix a lot of issues - making the game easier to run, optimizing the usage of resources required to play it, tweaking out the quirks... But, it's simply not enough for it to work.

Why can't I recommend it? A few reasons:
Looking how the AI works (one truck staying stuck in traffic 10 minutes while having a free lane), looking how the features don't seem to be quite working (the cargo train - I never knew if it ever was working), looking how the game still draws a lot of ressources still, looking how the tools could be much more refined, etc.

Don't get me wrong, the ideas that were developped for this game are amazing. The features implemented are incredible. The building look stunning! The amount of customization allowed is beyond vanilla CS1! But, these ideas and concepts are just not enough for it to save the game, because of their poor execution.

I tried to convince myself that this game would reach what I wanted it to be - a great city planning game. I'm coming to the conclusion that it's just not possible - the way it was build will just simply not allow it.

CS2 has everything is needs to be the masterpiece CS1 is. It just needs more love to be there, or perhaps it needed more love before releasing.

I'm not angry, sadly, i'm disappointed.

Amazing game, with live service done right. You don't have microtransactions shoved in your face every 5 seconds. It's best enjoyed with teammates, but you'll get team killer anyway ;)

Really challenging difficulties that will leave you screaming each mission.

For Super Earth and Democracy!

Fun battle royale game that is free to play. The learning curve of all the champions is intersting and you can choose from more than a dozen of them, which lets you find you style.

The game is receiving update to this day, so new content is always making you come back now and then.
Some small server bugs can sometime make the gameplay frustrating, but those are fairly rare, only occuring now and then.

Really fun to play with friends, from the first drop to the adrenaline of your first top 1!

Amazing game! Still in early access, but even then it feels like it's a more complete game than some AAA tiles...

This games pushes you a bit further each time you discover something new. I have found that not only the design and the mecanics are good, but the feeling of curiosity is just amazing. As soon as i learn new recipes, i want to use them and learn more. In simple words, it feels like a minecraft slowburn. You have something to work towars as you try to stay alive. Dying can feel punishing, but in a good way, as you need to get back on your feet afterwards.

50 hours in, lots of fun and a price really worth it! Can't wait to see the next updates!

This game is amazing. While your city may never be perfect to your eyes, this game pushes you to learn and to prove your creativity. Loved it

Very nice game if you like the colonisation era. Very realistic and epic, the battles are immersive. The campaings can take countless hours to finish, and you feel proud after. The only downside is that I didn't play this game sooner!

Overall, this is a good game. Fun to play with friends and tons of fun moments. For more content you will have to pay a lot for the DLC's, they are far from free.
