"It Takes Two" is a Thoroughly Enjoyable Co-operative experience with a beautiful mixture of art, themes, and gameplay. The Game looks cute and is high-quality inside of it's specific art style, reminiscent of a Disney or Pixar film. the characters follow this theme closely, with even minor characters being memorable and seeming to have enough of a depth to them to not be jarring.

In a world dominated by Arena shooters, Looter-shooters, and last-man-standing competitive gameplay, "It Takes Two" is a beautiful game with an engaging story and fun, constantly evolving gameplay. if you are looking for a heartwarming, co-operative game to sit down and play with someone, this game is a perfect fit. it is not overly challenging to amateur gamers, but it's ever-changing mechanics from level to level keep experienced gamers engaged, making every level a unique experience within the whole of the game, without feeling disjointed.

The beautifully smooth split-screen and online co-operative (still splitscreen, allowing you to move away from your partner but still see what they are doing) is a fantastic breath of fresh air, too often do games not wholly deliver on this, but this game goes so far as to allow you to play this with a friend across the world without them even having to purchase it. this kind of system is something that I have always thought should not just be appreciated, but encouraged.

TL;DR:
-Easy, fun, fluid co-op with one partner
-games art, graphics, and atmosphere DELIVER.
-gameplay mechanics are easy to understand but evolve or change over the game. engaging!
-very good length. 9.5 hours for me and another friend who waste no time when beating games. expect a slightly longer experience if you or your partner are not every-day gamers.

RECOMMENDED only for those who have another close friend or loved one with whom they can sit down for a total of 10 hours to solve puzzles and focus on this as an endeavor together.
