Needs some work (more servers, narrow board issue)

However, it is an incredibly fun time when the game works properly. I'm sure after a couple updates to iron out the issues, it will be perfect! Love it and highly suggest to play with a bunch of friends. Great time.

This game is AMAZING. Don't look at reviews, don't watch the trailer or any videos, EXPERIENCE it.
I don't want to say anything about this game, because it'll ruin it. The less you know, the better the experience is.
I highly suggest you buy this game and take an hour and a half by yourself to play this game, you will not regret it.
It's not a long game but you'll be thinking about this game and will be able to discuss this game with other for much longer.
It is an amazing experience that will convey many emotions. Please try it out, and if you play though it, please add me and leave a comment on my profile saying you'd like to discuss or just talk about the game, I'd love it :) I HIGHLY recommend this game to anyone.

About the game: Developed by DoubleDutch Games and Published by tinyBuild; SpeedRunners is a competitive-casual game (Yes, I just said that) that can be played with up to 4 players and is quite possibly some of the most fun I've had playing video games with my friends. There is a various selection of characters to play as and as these characters you compete against others to be the last "SpeedRunner" alive whilst using power-ups (such as "The Golden Hook", missiles, Bombs, and a lot more), boosts and the terrain of the maps to your advantage. As one character gets eliminated by going outside of the borders of the screen, the borders get smaller and smaller until there is only one "SpeedRunner" remaining. To win a game, you must win 3 rounds.

Pros:
- This game is extremely fun with friends, honestly some of the most fun I've had playing video games.
- Is very competitive but can also be casual, a strange sort of thing which really works for this game.
- A lot of replay ability because of how much fun it is to play
- Cool and unique characters with some characters you may recognise from other games + there are paid DLC character packs which contain popular YouTubers (and give no game play advantage, strictly cosmetic)
- Exciting fast-paced gameplay.
-Interesting maps that are fun to play on.
- Steam Workshop Support (Anyone can sumbit things onto the Steam "Workshop" and anybody can go and download these things and put them into their own game, at this time the only thing on the Workshop are maps).
- Active Developers who listen to what their community has to say and have been making great updates and additions to the game since 2013.
- Clean and simple graphics that look nice and go well with the game play.
- Although it is in Early Access it feels like a finished game..
Cons:
- Not very fun if you don't have friends to play with.
- Occasional connection issues (although they are very rare and in recent patches are barley present which is good).
- Can be rage-enducing.

Notes: THIS GAME GOES ON SALE FOR VERY CHEAP VERY OFTEN, SOMETIMES FOR AS LOW AS 3-4$ OR LESS! If you are going to get this game, get it with a group of friends, you won't regret it. This game IS an Early Access game but feels like a finished game. As I quote from Northernlion: "SpeedRunners is Mario Kart on foot, basically."

Honestly, this game is really fun and I don't think it deserves all the hate it's getting
