Early Access Review
While the concept is good, currently the game is a mess. And that's without counting bugs and growing pains. You go from an arcade/mobile space game when controlling your ship to a wannabe gritty shooter when you enter whatever station. The clash between play styles is downright jarring. Stations are likewise a mess. Layouts don't make sense, entrances and escape pods aren't marked and AI interactions just don't feel good. Don't get me wrong, they're not mobile turrets or anything, but there's a map called Naval Base where you are assaulting a naval base. Staffed with whatever diesel-punk SAS equivalent. They split up and hunt you individually. All the AI do. There's nobody defending a choke point or their office/home. They run around and maybe follow the noise. The game also goes out of it's way to be inconvenient in place of being gritty/harsh. With randomized shops you can't count on buying what you want/need. The crafting system is horrible, has random elements and is full of dumb 20sec timers. Inventory management is likewise made INCONVENIENT, requiring extra time to move items between inventories (and packs and such) instead of THOUGHT.

Unfortunately I just don't think this is going to ever end up as a fun/good game until the developers narrow their focus and either make the game alot less inconvenient to play or rework essentially the entire game into a harsh battle-royale. If that's the route they even want to go, because honestly a dystopian sci-fi Payday could be fun. Or big battles full of players assaulting a starbase could be fun too. Just not all together at the same time. The ship component should honestly just be removed.

TL;DR: Skip this game. It's trying to do too many things at once and does them all poorly.
