I’ll write something genuine here as I actually really enjoy this game, but heed this warning.

If you’re someone who generally dislikes and/or rages at horrid rng, this game ain’t for you bro :/

As someone who enjoys rogue-likes, deckbuilding, and does a little speed running in his spare time, throwing away countless hours attempting the same thing, hoping for that sliver of good rng to dunk his brain into a vat of seratonin and dopamine seems like the run of the mill Tuesday, and it’s very enjoyable for me.

However, if youre someone that gets attached to their runs in RPGs and someone that is looking for an easy breezy game that plays itself. You're going to like Dicey Dungeons for about 30 minutes to an hour tops, and then request a refund when Lady Luck is suffocating you under her 10 ton thighs of broken mirrors and spilt salt. The game does not pull punches and will not hesitate to crank the difficulty to nightmare mode at the flick of a switch.

However, if you’re someone that really likes what you’re hearing from me, and also coincidentally has 15 dollars burning a hole in your pocket, I have fantastic news for you.

The different characters and items offer insanely unique and diverse playstyles along with the insane difficulty to master and map out these different runs extending the playtime indefinitely, along with hidden secrets and a sweet surface level story that you can wrap your head around gives this game an element of progression and gives the player something to engage in while relentlessly hitting “new game” for the 27th time in that session.

Oh, did I mention there’s mods?

Yup, that’s right, let’s say you’ve pumped your couple hundred hours into this game and managed to 100% it to full completion (achievements and all.) Fortunately for you, there are tons of people and teams working on diversifying the game even further than what you’re already getting for the 15 bucks.

Mods not your thing? That’s cool, this game receives regular updates and holiday events that don’t look like they’re slowing down anything soon. If you’re investing in this game then buckle in because you’re in for a wild ride.

Do u enjoy getting enraged and frustrated over rng? Yes = buy game

Do you like long playability and frequent developer updates? Yes = buy game

Do you like mods and community created/attributed game modes and playstyles? Yes = buy game

Do you have 15 dolar? Yes = buy game

If you answered no to any of these questions, do NOT buy game :)
