I played the original Vindictus beta and throughout the life of the game on and off. I think the game is looking great for an Alpha test.

Pros:
- Skins, I remember the OG vampire hunter skin that was initially released in Vindictus early on was the only one available. The armors and skins are simply highly detailed and a great high fantasy look. Glad they starting off with many good skins.
- Combat feels good. I know some people think it's slow, but it's a lot faster than original +0 ATKSPD and only slower compared to the gear people are on in the later stages of Vindictus. And stagger rewards sticking with the boss instead of running and kiting which is a nice feature.
- No need to rerun maps. clear it once for story, then just fight bosses.

Cons:
- UI has major issues, too many clicks to do simple things (why do i need to click rest to heal?). Can i change characters/followers in town?
- Progression, skill tree, gear upgrade all feels bad. Low impact, feels largely irrelevant. No strategy.
- Dailies worries me. No an issue in the Alpha but no one wants to do all the bosses 3 times to optimally progress the BP. Think games like Genshin sets the standard for acceptable dailies.
- Simplified mechanics. Delia lost her delayed attack. Fiona her heavy guard. Karok doesn't have clash. Could use some more skill expression. Most characters feel same-ish right now.

Hope to see another test/demo in 6months~ to see the changes.

I really enjoyed the story. Though, it is does not boast uniques themes, it presents them in fun and still intriguing way.

Story aside, artwork is great and has a 'wow' factor on key events. The music is simple and has a low budget feel, but does suit the mood. The writting is a bit drawn out at times which I'm unsure if that is due to translation difficulties.

Overall, think it's worth the playthrough, though maybe not if it's your first VN.
