Fun for a few dozen hours. The card gimmick is fun, and should be attempted more (and things like it). My main issue is the bots, and the card game design not being fully committed to (it feels caught in between trying to be competitive...but you have a mode for that so no need).

It's Acti-Blizz, so you feel bad saying it. But MW2 is good fun, especially for shooter and COD fans alike. The blend of the tactical/fast paced gameplay I think is the most approachable the game has been. It has loads of modes and ways to play, you practically never get bored besides a lack of competition (coming in Season 2 apparently).

It's all of the Halo's for basically the price of one game...I mean...what are you waiting for exactly? If you haven't already experienced Halo, this is a great way to get the whole experience. And if you have, then there's plenty of Halo for you to enjoy.

Besides the lack of siege modes and meaningful team objectives, Mordhau presents a consistently fun and thrilling medieval combat filled multiplayer experience.

I really enjoyed my experience in Metro Last Light. I thought the Ranger Hardcore gametype made the game feel perfectly tuned. Everything just difficult enough to keep you on your toes, but your weapons still just as powerful as you needed. I also thought the trickle story, though predictable (like most action games) still had enough trickling to want to keep progressing.

However, the game was literally unplayable about 60-70% of the way through where I have a boss fight and because of my hardcore difficulty mode I couldn't even get enough ammo to kill the boss. I found a way to attempt to knife him, and well it turns out he was immune to that.

You can't create a hardcore ranger gametype, and not properly balance the boss fights. There's no way I can go back, and the only way to go forward is to cheat my ammo.

While I have never been a big fan of CRPGs, mostly because of their boring combat and often slow and uninspired character creators...one thing that is almost always on display with CRPGs is superb writing. inXile returns to form with their kickstarted spiritual successor to what many people consider the greatest RPG of all time... Planescape Torment.

Torment: Tides of Numenera is a spiritual successor in just about everyway...well...I think it falls short in pacing, as the game can certainly drag on at times. But it does a good job going away from the boring Paragon/Renegade or Good/Evil moralities. You can find yourself having a number of different tides, which help shape your character. The character sheet/customization is pretty lacking, especially with almost no ability to customize your looks.

But if you like strong lore, strong story-telling, and a well written (but not too long) story I would certainly purchase this game.
