Alright, to summarize my experience with this DLC: honestly amazing.

Well... most of it... More below.

Many missions making me laugh out loud (I just love Claptrap), interesting enemies with never seen before mechanics, interesting story, unique area's, great new weapons (legendaries but also the new type of 'glitch' weapons), etc.

The boss sucks. Bad.
The part that kind of ruined the whole end-game experience of this DLC for me was the boss. No worries, not putting any big spoilers here.

The boss takes up a substantial amount of bullets. And by substantial I mean, way too many. Magazine after magazine got emptied on the critical weak spot with my purple weapon of the appropriate itemlevel. All this while every 20 seconds a barrage of rockets, lightning balls and one-shot lasers got fired onto me, making me vision impaired for 70% of the time while even remotely close to the boss.

I couldn't get a second wind twice because I could literally not see anything else than explosions right onto my face. Even worse: after I finally finished killing the boss, (spoiler here) another, even bigger boss appeared taking me even more time to kill, which made me practically beg for it to end already.

All in all, 95% of this DLC is great, this is why I recommend it, even for 10 bucks. You get so much more content with all those side missions. Just be prepared, the boss fight is (in my opinion) way harder than the final boss in the main Pre-Sequel campain and might annoy you to the point of just giving up and trying again later.

But maybe I'm a weak person.

tl;dr: Very short DLC with an ejoyable story. Amazing, easy to farm loot. It will take ~30 minutes to complete te story.

The review
Like everybody said, this is not a DLC you purchase for the story. It is still very enjoyable to play though, there were definitely some parts where I had to laugh, and that's a good sign.

But the loot, damn. It makes the golden Sanctuary chest look like total garbage. Got a legendary siren class mod the first time I killed him. Don't know if I was very lucky though. On average you will get around 40 items, ~25 of which are blue or higher. This is especially good on UVHM when you quickly need some better items to kill that one strong raid boss.

In total, you will probably spend around half an hour to complete this DLC, depending on your gear of course. However, the boss is very easy to farm if you've found the perfect place to be. Standing in the corner of the entrance will prevent the boss from hitting you, which makes it extremely easy to just burst him down.

All in all, well worth the money. I can't find anything wrong with it (of course also taking the low price into account), so it's a solid 10/10 for me.

I just reached 1k hours played on Steam. Before it was released on Steam I played it for about 500 hours more. And after all this time of playing (even though I often took a break of a few weeks) I still enjoy playing Path of Exile very much. So many options, so much unique content, such a nice community where there's always somebody willing to help you with your questions, so many content-adding updates with new expansions, unlimited replayability. I played this for 1500 hours, and will most likely play it for another 1500 hours. Especially if GGG keeps releasing those awesome updates with new leagues, new items, new maps and perhaps new acts.

The game might be a little difficult to understand for new players, but the tutorial the game offers explains the most basic mechanics and things you have to know to get started. For a detailed guide to Path of Exile, I recommend ZiggyD's Path of Exile Guide 2.0 if you'd like to know every detail about the game.

PS: I'm always up for some high-level mapping ^^
Feel free to add me.

This game is awesome. Especially for when I'm in school and have nothing better to do.

When looking at the controls, I noticed some controls for Fire1, 2 and 3. Are they working on some kind of update which allows you to fire stuff at obstacles? Would be awesome ^_^

When I was browsing through my never-played games, I noticed this one. I have to say, this game is a lot of fun. Actually, it's pretty simple: You mine ores, and sell those for money you can use to upgrade things like your pickaxe or health. Ores will get more value as you get deeper into the ground.

The unfortunate thing is that I completed it in 5 hours. I enjoyed it very much, and would love to have more gameplay.

Anyways, I absolutely recommend this game, as you can replay the game if you'd like.
