Neon Knight

-A cyborg with no memory from before his 'rebirth', adopting his project name as his own, Neon Knight was created and trained with the sole purpose of eradicating cosmic horrors lurking in the deepest corners of known and unknown space.

Trained in combat with a photonic fighting style almost lost to time, utilizing the light energy of celestial bodies and from within himself, Knight was instrumental in battle against the dark eldritch forces who sought to return his universe to a state of primordial entropy.

His purpose fulfilled, and with side effects of the journey leaving him unbound to his original point in space-time, Neon Knight escapes from the organization that created him and goes rogue.

Embracing his newfound freedom, Neon Knight collaborates with other versions of himself in different timelines or dimensions. This eventually leads to the creation of the Galaxy Knights; an organization of skilled individuals, initially scouted by the various alternate Knights, who help regulate the entropy of their respective universes.

-Currently broadcasting "virtual training sessions" with alternate dimensional/timeline versions of himself.

TL;DR
Neon Knight is an inter-dimensional cyborg who keeps the multiple timelines in order. Knight "playing games" is him monitoring the timeline of said universe to correct any deviations and see that nothing is awry.
