Imagine every drivable surface is layered with black ice, every little collision is catastrophic and you have to preemptively back drift into every turn you make. That's the kind of "realistic driving" you can expect from this Xbox 360 level game engine.

Used to be a very fun game with a nice community. But sadly it's really going the way of Destiny 2 and I wasn't about that the first time. I now regret ever supporting this game.

Fresh out of the mandatory tutorial and not 100yds fresh from the safe zone. I get shot by some asshat camping the very first objective. Top tier multiplayer experience.

It's just a bad, user-unfriendly version of Ark. Just less ugly I guess.

It's kinda like early minecraft when they didn't care at all if you knew how to craft anything or even survive the first night. But imagine that was even worse. Imagine you couldn't even craft wood planks or make a simple shelter day 1 and something peaceful as the llama wanted to kick your ass and spit on your grave.

I love sandbox games, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ does this one really challenge that feeling. The early game is so awful and it takes way too much investment just to get the basics, which WILL fail you for being barely even be the bare minimum to scrape by. Not only do you have to worry about thirst, but you have to worry about AIR that drains just as quickly. Your armor and tools will be trash, your house will be trash and something as stupid as a large bird will want to kill you for no reason. (tbh it was just doing a favor, playing this garbage game made me wanna kms anyway)

Just get ARK instead, at least they have something cool like dinosaurs

Would have been fun to play this again. If EA and their stupid app weren't such garbage.

I used to love this game before bungle took every opportunity to spit in the faces of D1 players. I was just about willing to look past the vault wipe of the red war, until Y2 rolled around and announced bungle's worst idea: "sunsetting". After that I didn't see ANY point in playing anymore. It was one thing to have to "re-earn" all the returning exotics that bungle deleted, but for them to spit in our mouths and tell us expiration dates on our equipment was a good thing, I was just done.
After that I just took a back seat and watched the series continue it's little path downhill. Seeing the idea of evercurse evolve even further into a subscription format with "seasons" becoming the excuse to squeeze more money while cutting the story into smaller bits and even selling reskinned equipment to replace the ones that just got an exp. date stamped on them.

I wish I left this negative review a long time ago, it's astounding to me that bungle took their fall from grace with such pride. Knowing that the real diehards would stick through for some indiscernible reason, keeping this shameless micro-transaction, cash-grab non-sense on life support by throwing wads of money at every recycled idea and for what ever story is being told in an increasingly lazier fashion.
What gets me even more though, are the "fans"/zealots who DEFEND all the god awful decisions that end up driving more players away from what was once a really fun franchise.
