I wasted too many hours on this piece of work, I don't want you to.

Killing Floor- a game that is now nearly 7 years old- is a wonderful mix of skull cracking, limb tearing and blood bursting action. Whether you like to pick off ZEDs one by one with charpshooter, or go full pyromaniac and roast them as Firebug, Killing Floor offers a diverse playstyle to a range of audiences- in otherwords- there's something in it for everyone. While this game runs on Unreal Engine 2.5 the graphics and 'borderline' art style give the game a great look and feel- that is with the gore. Gore is a key part of this game and you can more or less paint a whole room red (with the blood of the dead!). You can even blow the head off a ZED and still have it running towards you, albiet much less faster.The charachter customizastion is good and you can purchase a while variety of skins for your daily ritual of mass ZED genocide. However- there are some weapons in the game tht pose an advantage over others and require DLC purchases giving the game (in the higher difficulties) a very slight pay to win feel. That being said these are only a few weapons and do not imact the game meta drasticly at all. There also seem to be some issues surrounding hitbox and hit detection, especially with ZEDs like Gorefasts and Crawlers. Another issue surrounding KF seems to be the very slow leveling systems- which outputs alot of people who will end up using SAM or 'perk leveling maps' to rank up while not really gaining any skills. There are also bugs when it comes to hosting a server- although much is not expected in this reigon from such an old game.

All in all KF is a very gory experiance which will get your heart pumping and palms sweating- but there are some issues that need to be solved which will be very unlikely due to Tripwire's discontiuation of updates for KF.

I would definitely buy this game if you're looking for a classic wave PvE survival.
