I know this is the first game but play the series.

I originally played the Blackwell series 2016, I also didn't play them in the right order... So now I am.

So now that I finished replaying the games in order- If you're reading this, what are you doing? Get the game. The whole series. It's worth it. The first 3 games are a bit rough, but the 4th and 5th (last) game makes it all worth while. The adventure is worth it.
The roller coaster is worth it.
8 years later and this whole series still has the ability to bring a tear to my eye.

Depending on how quick you can go through the games you could finish the series in 1-2 days the game are short.

I adore the series it's one of my favorites and I recommend the series to any of my P&C friends when they ask for recommendations. I highly recommend trying to play the whole series, even if you have to wait for a sale because it can be worth it if the story is your style.
I got hooked on the games, when I would finish one I would go buy more because I got caught in this story and I followed through to the end with no regrets.
The first doesn't really do the whole series justice, but honestly the more I went on the better the story got all the way to the end.

My first playthrough was about 2h 20m, my second playthrough was about 1h 40m.
This is a very short game, it's very simplistic, and it's easy to beat under 2 hours.

This game is an easy entry into the series but it does have it flaws, it's more of a "paper and pencil" detective style and not a "put a bunch of objects together" kind of game.

The game hardcore (like most) relies on you to exhaust dialogue options and some of them are easy to miss but are necessary to do a specific puzzle. -Mainly the talking to Joey about his powers before you try to deal with Kelly to grab what you need from the room.
Rosa and Joey actually make a good team, especially the more through the series you go, I love them.

I know this won't be for everyone, but I say try to give it a shot, it migh just be worth it.
