Played a match against the Exia.

It dash ruined our entire team, uninstalled right after the match was over.

While it leans on being what you should expect from the direction of the game industry for their big IPs. It still manages to be a fun experience that doesn't have the same impact and wow factor that RE2 remake had but the trade off is it feels less tedious with the amount of backtracking (majority of RE2 was the police station after all) and the focus on going guns blazing is really obvious on the easier difficulties.

Castlevania bumped into Dark Souls at a party.

They shared some laughs, had a good time and drank the night away

Nine months later, this game pops out.

In short terms, it's an interesting take on the mythos of Batman as there's plenty of familiar characters but sometimes, the twist pays off.

The bad news is that despite multiple patches, it's still prone to noticable glitches, a crash or two as the game seems to struggle with the engine itself.

I'd almost narrow it down to the emphasis on combat scenes as The Wolf Among Us handles smoothly and even The Walking Dead manages to be bug free.

I'd recommand this more to fans of Batman as despite the technical hiccups, Telltale delivers a respectful and interesting take on the Dark Knight and his crusade for justice.

After a rough launch and feeling the weight of monthly sub, ESO has managed to improve upon itself.

It's a vanillia experience of the modern Elder Scroll franchise series meets the typical MMO grind.

Things to consider

- Lots of additonal ES lore, see the place that Khajitis hang out or the swamps of Reaper's March
- Evil Dumbledore threatens Tamariel, fight in Rift style invasion events
- Lots of familiar mechanics such as crafting, combat feels akin to ES but more simplified
- No more monthly sub but you get stuff for monthly fee including access to all the expansions
- New updates every few months, full content updates on a timely basis like KOTOR
- Steam Sale prices make it a decent buy for casual play but you'll be waiting awhile for 64 gb install

If you ever wondered what Ghostbusters 3 would be.

Well, this is it.

Also it's cheaper than seeing the remake.

At first glance, Hand of Fate feels like a spin off of Fables but it turns out to something more cerebal than just your average action game.

The game structure takes elements of a rogue like by gambling with your resources with each step towards progress and when engaging in combat, it has an odd touch of making it feel almost like Arkham series of Batman, trading blows in rhyme to countering or rolling away from harm.

It shares a similar structure to something like Darkest Dungeon - a random generated dungeon awaits for you to explore, you micro manage what little supplies you have and hope that the random encounters work out in your favour.

If you enjoy rogue like games or management based games, this is a combination that I can easily recommend.

Take the teenage drama mystery series of Veronica Mars but make it slightly more hipster, you've got Life Is Strange.

I can honestly say that there's some moments in this game that catch you off guard and the feels just pour out. The only thing it falls short on is the usual lack of choice that even Tell Tale games suffer from as the story goes down the route of having made one choice or the other, very rarely are you faced with a choice that actually affects the game in the long run. As I also mentioned before, you have to go into this game knowing it plays very heavily on the tropes of teenage drama, there's moping, snobby cat fights and the 20 something wise beyond her years moments peppered throughout the game but it's presented up front, you know what you're getting into (unlike some other game about two girls working through their feelings that is highly overrated).

10/10 - check out the community for the hottest Chloe cosplayer ever, it's amazing.

If you are a fan of turn based games such as Civ or Age of Wonder but feel that matches can run for too long, this is the ideal game for you. Capturing new planets and fight it out in grid based combat as you try to come out on top.

Addictive, fun and just the right pacing makes this game really shine.

At one point in the game, you can use your ghost like abilities to take over a cat.

Press Y to meow.

10/10 GOTY, under-rated gem of a game.
