This game is a war crime simulator. It gives you a mech, tank or A-Grav and says "shoot anything that moves, or is completely still".

10/10 would destroy a city block with a tuk tuk again.

I have spent a ridiculous amount of hours in this game in a short time and I regret nothing. The single player is incredibly fun and addictive. The multiplayer is the same, except you can scream at your friends for having incorrect opinions about items. The shear amount of power you can obtain by stacking items is stupid and can lead to some truly memorable moments. By the end of a long run you will have ascended god and can clear the screen of enemies by firing two shots, then you will die like an idiot. Then you will do it again, and again, and again.

There are a few things I would like to see in the future, mainly more stages, and/or alternate versions of those stages because right now the only maps that have alt versions are Distant Roost and Titanic Plains (also Wetland Aspect and Sundered Grove are bad and I want them to be fixed or have alt versions that don't hurt me as much). Some items also feel like they should be re-balanced to not be completely useless. The teleporter event can also be a bit of a slog because when the boss dies random weaker monsters show up and most of the tension is lost while you wait for the teleporter to charge. However, Hopoo Games are committed to ROR2 and are going to continue releasing free updates and a DLC at some point that is going to include more survivors, maps, monsters, items and other stuff.

If you are thinking of buying the game, please do. You will not regret it.
