Good value for the money from a gameplay hours to dollars perspective. Love the progression of the game and the rewards you get as you progress your store. If you need a bit of a card opening fix without all the real world cost, this game is much cheaper than real TCG openings and still scratches that itch if you're looking for it.

The best time to play this game is never. The devs are clearly just cashing the game in to move on to other things now based on their new battle pass tom foolery. Uninstall, do not spend money in this game, and do not come back even if they walk the recent changes back.

You can tell the devs really care about keeping this game alive and fed. The game has solid progression systems and fun gameplay loops with a variety of objectives for missions to keep things fresh.

Any studio that strongarms Sony into changing their ways is alright by me.

Rusty's Retirement itches the scratch you'd hope for with this type of game. I have run into an issue where after moving Echo's workshop, it no longer works (the game doesn't recognize it's built). However, after restarting the game it seemed to fix the problem.

You can tell a lot of hard work went into balancing the economy of the game and the art, and I can appreciate that.

For an indie game that's meant for you to do other things while it just hangs out and looks pretty on your screen, this is more than worth the buy for me.

Some of these reviews are like "I sat in the back of the map with a sniper the whole game, the game is too boring and slow".

For real though, this game is the best battlefield game ever made and is an absolute steal at this price point. The devs just made a ton of great design choices from the little stuff to the big, and it shows.

Yeah they've jumped the shark and broken the game in irreparable ways. I've swapped my review to recommended and not recommended over the years. I won't be switching it back this time. It's Joever.
