Keep nominating it for Labor of Love Award ;)
It's simply still the best shooter (once they fix the UI) :P

Updated for Labor of Love 2023 <3 Hunt is the ideal example for long term Dev support (tie with DbD IMHO) e.g. bringing the game to the latest Engine in 2024 is just the next step, way to go Crytek!
---
Love it or hate it but the Devs continue to put so much work in it, nominated it for LABOR OF LOVE AWARD 2022 ;)
---
Great game if you dont mind PvP, PvE alone is possible but makes no fun in long term IMHO
Nominated it for LABOR OF LOVE AWARD as Devs still putting so much love into the game since early access days.
Sure there are lot of DLCs but its all pure cosmetic and the game itself has grown to much more value than it was before.

Das beschreibt eigtl. bereits alles inkl. HOHEM Suchtfaktor^^
Simpel & top ♥ ♥ ♥
Preis etwas hoch aber im sale =>40% geht das in Ordnung, die ganzen DLCs braucht man nicht!

Finally replaying/enjoying Half-Life since Xen is finished and BM now finally left early access...
The level of detail the Crowbar Collective team put into this re-creation is just stunning ♥♥
Thx to Valve's super-poor HL-Source "remake" 16years later we now got this gem in all its glory!!!!
They should definitively get paid by Valve for this or at least Valve should remove their 20-30% provision on its sales :P

Ever tried re-playing an old game which you had such great memories of but now its just shockingly ugly and ends in a frustrating experience?? NOT WITH THIS ONE! :)

Guess I dont have to loose a single word about Story, Gameplay, etc... it's Half-Life just go get it :P

Pretty neat game!
While most probably not worth the full price of 20$ its definitively worth it on sale... just got it with Fanatical "Killer Bundle 14"
Personally i've enjoyed the Bioshock 1 style atmosphere the most!!
The game itself is not too demanding, 1st person walking simulator with an interesting story + mild puzzles and a few "action" escape scenes (which were a little buggy for me from time to time) overall it took me 4 1/2 hours to complete while having all collectibles in 3 out of 10 chapters, so dont expect days of playtime here ;)

Played for abt 2 hours and did not manage to kill an animal or collect enough cloth for an sleeping bag yet (respawn point)...
BUT had some insane naked mass b!tch fights on the beach, lol ;)
....then disassembled their bodies with a rock to make better weapons out of their bones xD

If you like Day-Z aká survival themed games, this is for you ;)

Well Well, Steam Awards is a good time to edit this review i guess.
This game got and still gets so many fixes... TBH i even cant keep up with all the new killers and survivors, perks, events, etc...
In the actual state its really a no brainer to higly recommend this horror gem ♥

Long story short: I've nominated it for The “Labor of Love” Award
Initial review from 2016 follows:

Had a hard time deciding if I should give it a recommendation or not...

The game principle is definitely soooo much fun but all the bugs and the constant changes created a love-hate relationship with this game for me :P

It (very) often feels like #EarlyAccessSh!t when you simply cant join a lobby for a long time or you suddenly fall through the floor or face a invisible wall or even get stuck somewhere in the map...
To get an impression what I'm talking about simply check the bug Discussion sub-forum for this game ;) e.g. the collection of unpassable areas thread.

This game needed way more play testing before release and seeing the Devs already released 2 cosmetic paid DLCs rather shows an interest in quick money -_-

Anyway it can be pure fun, even more with friends, and really gives you chills ;)

I still do recommend it, but the Bugs are a big shame for such a game... would say for half the price below 10USD its a safe deal (in it's current state)

Really fun game right from the start!

It's a nice Metal-Slug style L4D survival mix.
Get's a little hard over time and definately lacks co-op play but you will have a nice time with it for sure.

Pretty "okay" game...

The story is quite good, altough the cutscenes really lack some polishing.
It starts interesting, then got a nice twist in the story but at arround ~2/3 just gets frustrating, you definately feel it got stretched at some point - actually had to force me to finish it in one go ;)

I still recommend it though, its a nice game for in between and if you get it cheap or with a bundle just give it a go.

Technical wise it cant keep up with AAA titles although the gfx with unreal engine overall looks nice and some! level areas are lovely designed. For an indie title its well made but lacks own ideas, so it feels more like a dead space copycat.
