If laughing at gruesome carnage isn't your thing then this game is NOT for you. The amount of blood and guts and gibbing that you can do puts Gears of War to shame. Its not even that its more gruesome, its the fact that you can rip through a small army in such an extremely short amount of time. Although the animations can get a little old after a while and the final boss battle was...well...pathetic really. Not going to lie, the assault to get to the guy was harder than he was and yes, its through quicktime events that you kill him. But this game suits a lot of different playstyles. Everything from your generic rifle to a heavy machine gun that cuts down any poor sod in front of you to even a jetpack/melee weapon combo that can totally flank enemy after enemy. This game doesn't offer much in the way of sniping, but hey, its warhammer 40K. W40K is all about massive armies battling it out on a front line where "your only defence is the guardsman in front of you."
