I buy these every time they are released, great cause and you get some cool stuff.

Really pretty

It's fun, looks gorgeous and performance right out of the gate is awesome. def suited to the sweaty players with no job, family or life who can keep up for hours and hours on end. I'm a filthy casual and just having fun at my own pace.

It'll be F2P - Try it, if you don't like it, don't play it I guess.

The actual game play loop in my brief play through seems really fun and scratches that Civ itch.

Now, while I do see a bright future for the game - I cannot recommend in it's current state until the performance issues get sorted out, it runs like utter garbage (even on low-medium settings with an an RTX 4070), probably one of the worst game, performance wise I have played in quite a while, it's unfortunate because everything else looks awesome.

Ended up refunding, but I may come back in the future when I can see the performance issues have been ironed out.

I hate to leave a negative review and I will change in time, but rather people have a heads up just in case!

Married my mother and had multiple children who I also married. Just like real history 11/10 would inbreed again.

Another update after the latest patch to coincide with the Pivot of Empire DLC, a lot of the pain point issues have really been fixed and fine tuned, absolutely worth diving into Vicky 3.

Updated review since buying all the expansions to date, while not necessary they really do add some flavor, the day night cycles look stunning. Still one of the most tricky Paradox games to master, but once it clicks - it's phenomenal.

Massive learning curve, but once you get the hang of it - really rewarding! Game looks gorgeous, numbers going up never looked so pretty

Kinda Dragon Quest x TMNT x Streets of Rage. If you are a fan of both RPGs and beat em'ups, you'll dig Towerborne.

I like that you can change classes whenever you want, you are never locked into anything. World is bright, colourful and combat is tight, Really solid for an early access release too

Worth it if you are a fan of the genre

As someone new to this genre of games, I am having a blast - Everything is intuitive, smooth and easy to learn / hard to master. graphics are gorgeous and the little town you start building really feels alive and thriving.

Kinda went off gaming for a while and was looking for new genres and types of games to play to get back into it all, always been interested in strategy stuff but never thought I would have the time to learn,

CIV VI has been a great stepping stone into the genre, and although still learning the ropes - Having a blast!

I have no idea what I am doing. 11/10
