Early Access Review
Although this game has drawn comparisons to many other IPs and gamestyles, I'd argue this game doesn't pretend to be anything it's not. Palworld feels like it was designed around two questions: "is this fun?" and "wouldn't that be cool?" Because of that you may find some odd scaling curves and gaps in mechanics, but in those moments where you're scaling up your tech tree or "rez running" back to your corpse, you'll probably be having a good time.

One of the top sleeper hits of recent memory. An absolute blast to play online with friends, and one of the best/friendliest communities I've come across!

When I first read reviews for this game, I was put off by people claiming it as a new chapter in gaming. It felt stilted. I was intrigued by the concept and decided to try it out anyway, as a sucker for classic RPGs and noir-style-detective-stuff.

I'm not sure how to describe Disco Elysium, but the story changed my perspective of what both art and games can be. It changed my views of politics, changed how I view other people, and changed how I view the world around me: I understand everyone is just trying to survive. I say those things with no hint of irony and no intention of sounding hyperbolic. It's the deepest worldbuilding I've witnessed outside of the Warhammer and DnD universes, and the story is accessible without being insulting but intelligent without posturing towards internet pseudo-intellectuals.

Approach it with an open mind, and I think you'll learn more about yourself than you ever expected.

It's like paperboy, but instead of delivering papers, you deliver murder.
