There was once a young man without a name, stranded in a desert with nothing to survive. He does not remember who he is or how he ended up there, but his only chance to live was to keep walking and hoping he finds something useful. After 30 minutes of tiresome traversal he sees a long and deserted freeway in the distance with just one car parked alongside it. The dying man, almost completely exhausted, crawls towards the car. As he inches towards it, he feels a sense of familiarity with the car. Never has he seen this beautiful vehicle, but something about it makes him feel safe and protected already. He gets closer and finally reaches for the door, grabs the handle to open it, and painfully climbs inside. To his surprise the car is cool, stacked with fresh cold water bottles in the back and has the engine humming idly in a beautiful rhythm.
He takes a moment to breathe it all in. The relaxing atmosphere in the interiors of that vehicle made him immediately forget the near death experience he had just moments ago in the desert. Still confused, he decides the smartest thing to do now is to use this car that also seems to have a full tank of fuel to drive along the freeway in hopes of reaching civilisation.
After an hour of driving, he spots a small town and decides to stop by. Still tired, he walks into the local pub but then immediately falls unconscious. A few hours later he wakes up completely rejuvenated from all the pain and fatigue he was in. He walks out of his bed and sees the whole town taking pictures of the car he arrived in. Upon asking an old man sitting beside the door why they were so intrigued by the car, he responds "That's a Mustang, lad! You must be very lucky to afford one."
Upon hearing the name of the car, he feels a sudden wave of delight, gratitude and awe. He remembers playing with a toy version of the mustang and drawing them in his childhood. He remembers sitting in one and being the happiest kid alive. The Mustang connected him to the life he had forgotten, or maybe even given him a fresh set of memories to cherish forever.
And so, without question, this young lad decided to name himself over the car that saved his life and gave it a new meaning.
