2. run command

3. play the last proper RoR 2 build you've just downloaded, with all your QoL mods working!

Perfect modern arcade beat'em'up. Worthy successor to the legendary series.

Story mode with local and online co-op, responsive controls, pretty visuals, great soundtrack. Training and boss rush modes, and even fun survival/roguelite DLC with unlockable movements for the characters. Just great!

Special thanks for the flawless Linux native version, examplary work here as well!

Totally recommend for Streets of Rage nostalgist and new players alike.

I've played Isolomus out of boredom and curiosity, and it's too weird and disturbing.

That's surely a creepy art house, not for everyone.

I do appreciate the animations, no text gameplay and Linux native version, though.

Just beware that it may be better for you to avoid this game and not to experience yourself. This is fine.

One day I was silly and optimistic to ask my friend to buy a copy of Hunt to each of us...

Today my friend has 1000+ hours in the game (guess what his Steam year of review looks like 😂) while I have 10- 🥺

When my friends assemble in a voice channel to play Hunt, I join a parallel one with a single slot and count my days 💀

Laughs in Factorio and UnderRail.

This is truly awesome side-scroller with local 2-player coop. It's like modern Contra, for real.

Pixel art, music and gameplay are excellent. Every boss is unique and interesting to master. Popular culture references here and there is a cherry on top. In the end you see my playtime which is way higher than the average on Steam. I'm missing a single achievement (to beat each of the levels with a single life), so I guess I enjoyed the game that much.

Oh, and the game also runs natively on Linux, which is always a plus for me.

TL;DR: superbly made modern Contra that you'll enjoy the most in 2-player coop.

Fun pixel gore game, but it's strongly advised to play it in coop. And with gamepads.

Not as awesome as Broforce, but still good, fun to play. Half of the playtime was by kids under 10 y.o., it says a lot.

Has some technical flaws, like I had more skill points that I can spend 🤷 or like music on 100% volume is waaay louder than on 90%, but whatever, those aren't critical to enjoy the game.

Kudos to Gavin Harrison for synth'y soundtrack \o/

Played on Linux with Proton 7 and 8, the only issue I had is that controller hotplugging didn't work, had to restart the game to play with controller.
