I'm 19 hours in and I can honestly say I have yet to use any fast travel like mechanic, to me that says everything you need to know. Just riding around on your horse, taking in the scenery, dodging bounty hunters, running into random people all of it is so fun and immersive and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ i almost cried when i had to put my horse down when it got run over by a train. I've never found an open world game this much fun but this is the kind of game i imagine when publishers are talking about open world games.
