Picked up a duck. Died.

You're better off playing Planet Coaster 1, in it's current state this game is not worth the price they are charging. Game has been out for a bit over a month at the time of me writing this and they are already releasing DLC without doing any meaningful stuff to fix the current gameplay experience. Save your money, buy Parkitect.

Fantastic game.

Controlls take some getting used to but when you get into it you can create some great stuff pretty quickly.

As a train driver working for ÖBB I have to warn you: If you want realism do not buy this game.

First of all the game always starts with train safety systems off, which is fine for beginners who just want a model railway experience.

On German routes I'd say PZB acts in a way you'd expect it and the game gives you some information on when to push the buttons which can be very nice for beginners. However on Austrian routes the game will often say "Safe to release" when it shouldn't. In Austria we have strict rules on when you can use the Freitaste. Also in one of the scenarios it requires you to perform a shunting movement, after changing cabs you find yourself driving toward a signal showing the wrong aspect. You can pass this signal, yes, however in real life you would have to stop and contact the signaller to ask why the signal is showing the wrong aspect, it could mean that you're in a very dangerous situation!

In this game the trains drive without timetables yet again. I don't know how it is in other countries but in Austria it would not be allowed for me to drive my train without an up to date timetable and register of slow speed areas. This also means you can't drive properly since you can't anticipate any speed changes without the HUD. I'm not trained for the Vorarlberg route so I do not have knowledge of local restrictions. This is a problem I've had with the other games too.

Also once again in this game when you choose the side for the doors to open it will open all the doors. Again, I do not know how it is in other countries but in Austria setting the switch to the side you want to open only unlocks the doors, people still have to push the button on the door to open it.

Will I stop playing this game? No. I love my job, trains have always been a big hobby for me, so it's a quite relaxing game to me.

Should you buy this game? No. If DTG doesn't start working on fixing realism issues you really should not give them your money for the same game over and over again every year. For German routes you're better off playing Zusi.

I'm sorry but this is just not a good mod. Having more stuff doesn't mean it's better.

Portal as a game really works well because it sticks to one mechanic and it does it well.

The things you have added here are often just very buggy and not fun to interact with at all.
You also made some levels incredibly unfair and with little to no instructions I wasn't able to progress properly.

I think you'll be able to improve the more you work on this kinda stuff, but this just ain't it.

Don't buy this game.

There's tons of bugs, some routes straight up crash the games (And I'm talking about routes that you have to pay for separately since this game is basically just a launcher for paid DLC)

There's little to no realism and no challenging moments at all.

A real train driver has to pay attention to the littlest things but train sim world 3 just sends you through an empty environment from point A to point B.

Train safety features are shut off by default, meaning if you're on a German train and you don't activate PZB there's nothing stopping you from speeding all over the place.

A SPAD will simply give you a game over meaning that on timetable mode signals are either green or red with no reason to ever call the signaller to get clearance to pass a signal at danger.

Another thing that is quite annoying about the timetable mode is that it does not give you time to get your train ready. It starts off telling you to open doors immediately, if you don't open them instantly and instead choose to maybe properly get the train ready for service you will most definitely be late to your first station.

Station stopping also has little to no effect on your overall score, you can easily get a very high score without ever looking at any sort of train stop marker.

While the trains all look lovely and have plenty of interactive bits, some of them do noting at all and others are just static anyways and the sound design makes me want to vomit at times.

Again, save your money, if you're actually interested in learning how train drivers do their job you're better off buying Zusi.

Spawning in 70k cards crashes this game. Pls fix.
